Good question, maybe some of the Silver Lake Michigan guys could chime in, they are always sand dragging these reptiles. My guess: 4x4 high, diff lock on, traction control all the way off (not sport mode), floor it!

Just called the Bak Flip factory and they tell me that the hardware does not allow the factory installed bed extender to rotate out, whew, with all the great reviews I almost went out and bought one.
