Whenever Nick gets back with me, I’m on it, worst thing that happens is it’s too tall and I install drip shackles. We can go down just not up again.
Thanks again @dixonk
Already have the FFR 3.0…tried the perch then geiser then still wasn’t satisfied.
Definitely want the HD with the weight (plus travel trailer towing) just not looking for the stink bug look when unloaded, like 90s duallies, factory rear stance or a little flatter, no more nose up. I’m from CA...
@dixonk you still happy with your +4hd?
Sent a message to Nick for his recommendation on +3hd or +4hd for my setup, I carry 300lbs daily and looking to sit between 41”-42”
Marc,
Sorry to hear ‘bout your leak, super bummer, but know that man is flawed and unfortunately we make mistakes. But man made, man broke, so I’ll be damned if man CAN’T fix it!
Here’s what I found on my 2017 Raptor SCREW:
ONE of my leaks was from the roof seam sealant at d/s rear just before...
Welcome. It’s a blank canvas for any and everything! Enjoy your new ride. 68k miles on OEM shocks, I’d recommend to rebuild those second, after you decide springs or collars to level it out of course. No reason to do a job twice lol.
Love the way black shines too. Try V07 from chemical guys, I absolutely LOVE it for wheels, it helps the body stay and look clean a few weeks longer than a wash.
+1 for links.
If you’re mechanical inclined, remove your sway bar links and zip tie the sway bar to the skid plate in the center of the truck, there is a spot where the sway bar tucks nicely with the plate then zip tie it. I ended up removing my sway bar all together because the truck is able...
Found this info online, but the file I saved was too big, so here’s the highlights.
Start by removing the grid-covered elbow vent beneath the exposed part of the door latch. Rotate the elbow vent 180 degrees so the elbow faces upward instead of down, and push it back into place. Be careful not...
WHEN you get bored. Tried Geisers and found too rough. Ditched them after 1600miles and went with Camburg 1.5” spacers. Ride stiffness compared to stock is hardly noticeable, and only with body roll.
Agree 100%
Pulling my Geisers off Tuesday and installing Camburg spacers. Should take some of the harshness away, I got from the Geisers. I’m pretty sure I got some lemon springs but have heard great things about Eibach.
In the realm of stiffness, the spacer will preload the stock spring but...
NICE...I bet I got a bad set then, super bummed. Love the height and everything just hate the TWANG lol.
Well I’ll give it a few thousand miles more then it’ll be off to Eibachs or SVC CAS. Super bummed.
Thanks for responding!
Wfo, did you ever have any initial noise from the spring after installing them. I’ve got about 1700miles on my Geisers and since day 1, they’ve had a TWANG to them after speed bumps going 5-15mph. Curious if it’s just me or maybe until they’re “worked in,” it’ll go away.
Thank you.And love your...
