    Sounds Good - Stealth Package

I agree. For many years, as an ultra-high-end retail operation in Miami, we never offered stereo upgrades under $15K until we fully embraced the F-Series platform. During the decade I spent on the retail side, there was a six-month wait just to get through the door, a premium price to pay, and...

    Sounds Good - Stealth Package

We wish our manufacturing system could generate lead times for each individual product and variation. For instance, consider our behind-the-seat enclosure with a loaded amp rack—it comes in 12 different variations. Of those, 2 could ship within 5 days, 7 of them will take 5 weeks, and the...

    Sounds Good - Stealth Package

We appreciate the support and your patience :) Estimating exact completion times can be challenging, as each package varies significantly in complexity. For example, a $20K package might require 16 hours of work, while a $3K package may only take 3 hours. With over 50 packages in progress at...

    Subs intermittently sound bad

Make sure you check your ground/power connections at the battery. If you used the rear wall for ground, the glue joints could have released enough to cause these issues. If you haven't already, run the ground to the battery. Also, make sure the power/ground of your PAC uses those connections and...

    Replace B&O door speakers only?

On the 2024 F-150, the amplifier is on the passenger side, behind the foam/carpet panel. Here in a few weeks, we are releasing out 2024+ products, so be on the lookout

    Regular speaker upgrades

Within your investment budget, speakers will not do much without removing the B&O amplifier from the equation. If you want better performance, block off plates and some sound treatment in the doors. From there, you are replacing the factory amplifier and jumping up into $$$$ to really make a...

Anyone do a similar system upgrade?

Better than stock.... we all know how lackluster the factory system is, just have to be sure to upgrade it the right way. We develop kits with the Kicker speakers, they are good, but just depends on the customer. They tend to be a little too efficient/aggressive/edgy at times for our older...

Will I be happy this time around? Bass Head Content

Awesome! If for any reason you do it again, aim the subwoofers at the rear wall, and laminate several pieces of baltic birch as a loading wall. It's a trick we did in this Bronco build for Focal that helped "aim" the bass. The rear fire will help with the low-end extension if you can add enough...

Pioneer amp randomly going into “Protection Mode”

Usually, this is caused by the ground like others mentioned, but also could be a speaker wire/subwoofer shorting out. All it takes is for one strand of wire close to a subwoofer basket and it could cause this intermittent issue. First, run a dedicated ground to the battery just so your...

Audio cuts in and out, suspected loose connection.

You can buy the two cables and just run it along the door sill from the ACM to the amplifier.

Will I be happy this time around? Bass Head Content

Have you considered a blow-through 4th order? It will eat up some bed space, but might improve your transfer function in the truck to help with the low frequencies inside the truck.

    Sound System Upgrade Help

Tough one... Bi-Amp will at least give you some control over the mid/tweeter where a 4-channel you are limiting yourself. If you go with a 4-channel for front/rear, it would be nice to have a lot of power... 125wrms+ per front channel. Possibly take 4 channels and bridge it down to feed the...

Audio cuts in and out, suspected loose connection.

Got it, so it's either ACM, A2B Cable or Amplifier itself. We have never seen a bad amplifier, but seen several bad A2B cables plus a few bad ACMs... I would use the warranty, it's not something that is easy to troubleshoot with extras of all of the above :)

Audio cuts in and out, suspected loose connection.

Interesting, the Audio Off is usually a loose or bad A2B cable. In early 2021 trucks, a lot of them had bad A2B cables that would display Audio Off and would eventually never come out of that mode. Could be one of these: - Bad A2B Cable - Loose A2B cable - Bad ACM - Bad Amplifier

upgraded the B&O not so unleashed.

Larger subs require more internal airspace in the enclosure... Physically you might fit a larger sub, but you will not have the airspace to have any type of low end extension (low bass). We use two 6.5-inch subwoofers in a high-efficiency vented enclosure and based on what we see in the market...

Proline X behind the seat enclosure

8-inch sealed = Expect a minimal difference in output. 4-inch thick, you cannot flip up the seat and lock it without it touching the subwoofer.
