That looks factory how hard to remove the headlight switch

I personally didn't do the install but when I told the installer I wanted it there he had it out in about two seconds. I found the switch assembly on Rock Auto. It just snaps in with a plug in the back. Here is the link for reference. MOTORCRAFT SW8795

Very easy. Pops right out with a trim tool.
