You can do it, BUT you will have clearance issues/rubbing. and your probably gunna want to get new suspension as well. If your just gunna "mall crawl" you should be fine.
Don't do it. There is absolutely no reason do level it out other than getting worse performance out of it. There is a reason ford doesn't level it form the factory. if you want to upgrade thew suspension do it right and get a suspension kit.
Fist of all I love your post, very detailed and easy to understand! This post is why I bought the Autotech, I even ended up doing the same thing with the USB's, looks super clean.
So I am at the part of routing all the wires. Do you have to use the mic that came with it or will the OEM one's...
I have General Grabbers 37's and I have them at 50 PSI on the street (Max PSI). When I off-road I have them at 8-10 PSI, but I have the Method bead tech wheels. Haven't had one problem them, I about 15,000 miles with them.
I have SDHQ weld-on rocksliders. I love them and the can take a beating :). They are the only ones I have found that mount directly to the frame. All the other ones I looked at mounted at the step mounts.
I love my grabbers! But I haven't took them out in the snow. But what I've heard they don't do "well" in the snow because of the large grouping of the tread, (they are technically mud tires). Wish I could give you more info, but for everything else they are a really great tire. Although its...
I have my PSI down to 12 when I'm off roading for "crawling". But I have the bead tech wheels from method and General Grabbers 37's. On tarmac I have them at 45
If you want MSRP your going to have to wait a little longer when the dealer fill up with more stock. My dealer by my house in Huntington Beach has about 2-3 in stock right now (they have about 20 Bronco's too). So probably wait until the 4th quarter or sometime around then.
Don't be nervous lol. They are super easy to use, you just got to make sure you lube up the pins ever so often. My Hi-Lift didn't wanna go down one day when I was changing out one of the tires. Had to get my dead blow hammer out and smacked it a couple of times. Read the manual lol.
I put mine where the stock jack is. I can’t use the stock jack anyway cause of the 37’s and I got a Hi-lift. I really like the spot because it’s out of the elements and easy to get to.
I waited 6 months for my King 3.0 front and rear's. But that was a year and a half a ago. Nothing is gong to be the same again until about the beginning of next year.
I would recommend rally armor, they are kind of expensive (but that's what you get with a raptor lol). Very well made and they use the stock holes. But if you plan of getting bigger tires they will rub on the screws unless you get flared bedsides and fenders.
