Removed the corroded plug and was still having issues with the fuse blowing. Ended up unplugging the grille shutters and the fuse stopped blowing and I was able to clear all the codes. So far so good. Wanted to update this thread in case someone else runs into the same issue. Not sure if the...
Digging into this today and found the plug for the OEM intercooler fans tied up behind my bumper and full of corrosion. I don't have the fans anymore due to FMIC and my installer just left the plug tied up behind the bumper. I'm hoping the corrosion is causing the blown fuse. Going to try...
My check engine light came on tonight and I got a Ford Pass warning that there was an issue with my 'turbocharger/supercharger control system'. The truck was feeling sluggish and didn't seem to be building boost.
I pulled the codes with Forscan and got the following codes:
- P0034
- P028D
-...
Following up on this thread. I've had my VDM replaced, ride height sensors replaced and solenoids on my Live Valves replaced. The truck seems better but ever so often I feel like I get a rough ride and wobble in the steering wheel. Next time I start the vehicle it seems better.
I pulled DTC's...
Was checking DTC's through Forscan tonight and this one popped up. Anyone familiar with it? I have had previous suspension issues with my Live Valve and also have an intermittent wobble in the steering wheel. Wondering if it's related.
This. I have the same issues. My dealer has replaced the VDM and the solenoids on all of my Live Valves. Sometimes it’s great, other times it makes me carsick.

Is there a way to just have the yellow strips in the headlights on for DRL? I have mine set for parking lights now and it includes the marker lights front and rear, tail lights and license plate bulbs. I'm sure it's been asked but I can't find a quick answer and would prefer not to search...
I don't believe so. At this point I'm going to leave it up to my dealer to figure it out. They need to figure out the oil issue as well now. Hopefully the 4th try is the charm.
I did with the values that were on the new VDM and it did not pick up any readings. With the as-built values it did give me readings for ride height and a few other lines but still rides like a box truck.
Went for a longer drive today and it's still awful. Unrelated but now the bottom of the truck is covered in oil as well, had that changed by the dealership last week. Going back to the dealer again...
Have you seen Live Valve issues and VDM replacement solving it? I updated the new VDM with the original as-built values and now Forscan is reading ride height and other sensors in the VDM. I took a quick drive and it feels better. Is the VDM and solenoids/ride height sensors known for issues?
Thanks! I just want to be sure that the new module shouldn't be programmed differently than the original module. I'll try reverting the VDM back to the original As-Built programming that I saved and see if that takes care of my issues.
I've been having issues on my '20 with the Live Valve suspension. Specifically at about 15k miles my truck started riding really harsh. My dealership said they could not get the truck to read it's own ride height and believed that was putting the suspension into the harshest setting. They...
