Been in that area since 1986. Used to drag race my Buick Grand National on University Parkway where it dead ended just east of 75 (this was in 86-87). There was a spot marked that measured a quarter mile from that point to when you got to the 75 overpass. Anyway, I own a house in Lakewood...
Got the replacement in this morning via overnight delivery. It looks the same but the the LEDs in the OEM light are a little less pronounced (i.e., i can faintly see the individual LEDs in the replacement unit). No matter, I didn't see where the OEM one was leaking, and the BLIS module was 100%...
Just noticed my passenger side has the same issue...no cracks that I can find, however I'm ordering a replacement housing from Amazon right now ($173) and not taking any chances. I'll hit the connectors with dielectric grease, should be a 20 minute job.
Meant to report back I bought some Stoner Trim Shine and it did a great job. Not slippery at all...anyone tried it on floor mats? Looks great sprayed in the front wheel wells too. Thanks for all the help.
Anyone have a suggestion for a dressing that will keep the rock sliders looking nice and fresh but isn't slippery or greasy? Any suggestion would be great.
I have a 2019 SCREW that is in amazing shape for having 48k miles. The interior looks new, it has always been paint-corrected and babied. 802a truck missing only the Recaros and heated rear seats. Not selling but I might need to trade it for tax reasons (maybe for an F250 Tremor) by end of year...
So it has rained quite a bit since I posted this. Rained really hard last night for about an hour and again today. Not a single drip inside. I really don't feel like I did much of anything other than clean the rubber seals and pour some water down the drain to get it going. <shrug>
Thanks for the advice fellas. i got it home and tested the drain lines, Driver side was running slow so i poured some water in then it seemed to clear up. Used my air compressor after that. It's draining pretty healthy right now. Maybe it had some debris that needed to be cleared out? Also used...
So I have a leak that appears to be coming from the front grab handle. Anyone else experience this? If yes, how did you handle it? 2019 w 48k miles, no warranty. Noticed it a month ago but that was because we had a ton of rain. Same thing happened again over the past 24 hours - same deal with a...
Resurrecting this 3.5 year old thread. My 2019 is doing it at 44k miles - 7-8 shift, revs up and kind of announces itself when it shifts LOL. Out of warranty now, should I take it in for the TSB fix? Is it going to hurt anything if I don't?
My 2019 has 42k miles on it and looks and drives amazing. I got it for $7k off MSRP and I see absolutely NO REASON to bother, especially considering how much the same truck has increased in price and how unwilling dealers are to negotiate. I've never been so unexcited about cars in general as I...
I had driven it earlier that day. It sat all Saturday and then I moved it yesterday to wash...started fine and remembered CarPlay this time. The electronics in these are so strange.
Got in the truck tonight - rarely drive at night. Noticed my ambient lights were off. Turned them back on. Then noticed CarPlay wasn't working (worked earlier in the day). Rebooted the Sync system, still nothing. Fiddled around in the vehicle settings and saw CarPlay was switched off on the Sync...
Man this story sucks. Glad you ended up with a new truck.
I have become hooked on AirTags...I have a wallet with one, my keys have one and so does my dog now. Where would you hide it? Doesn't Apple let you know when an AirTag is following you? If the thieves had an iPhone wouldn't it tell them...
This has been going on for the entire time I've owned it. At first it freaked me out thinking something was broken, now I just shrug and it goes away eventually after a cycle or two.
I realize that but I also realize the memo probably hasn't gone out they've lost a considerable number of their conservative base. I'm pretty right-leaning centrist personally but believe this network is just as suspect as any of them, more so now. I think "controlled opposition" is an accurate...
Beautiful view.
Fox News? No one watches them anymore, at least no one I know. They're part of the corporate media establishment, i.e.: lies, just like the rest of them.
Lithium mining is pretty deplorable IMO. That said, I wouldn't mind a Tesla Plaid, though.
I tend to lift off the gas when someone tailgates me like that and, if possible, drift onto the shoulder a little where all the loose gravel usually is. Eventually I'll get out of their way if they don't back off but I reaaaaaallllllly take my time. I'll hit my signal and take forever to move...
Wow, you must be my brother from another mother. You sound a lot like me. I was a part of the Fcar community for years and during the last slowdown, almost every model took a huge beating. Even wealthy people let toys go to free up cash for other "suddenly cheap" investments like real estate and...
