Wanted to bump in case anyone else has the issue and can add, or missed it and cares….who knows.
the AP is still shutting off…seems more frequently, and also sooner after igntion is on and the truck is running…..it cuts off within 30sec almost every time i start driving…
To add to this, here...
I feel like i wasted my money, again. Just adding.
Mine are getting worse. Especially at a creep goin down the driveway, dropping my kid at school in the mornings….

Is yours a stock Cobb AP? Mine is a goosetuned version…..i can say that the tunes work flawlessly and the truck is a beast….i just like to keep mine in the vehicle….and it has interrupted me running catalogs a good bit.
Thanks for the reply.
I am currently trying to see if i need to...
Ok…to further try and self analyze this…
i have a BlueDriver obdII scanner as well that i keep in my wife’s 4Runner. I unhooked the AP and plugged the blue driver module in…on the raptor, i have to connect to the app every time i turn the truck on (not o the 4R) and i choose a few live values...
It’s not like that for all leafs….hell. My OEM set up didn’t make any noise and was Cush as hell. My FJ60 doesn’t squeak with the iron man leafs……

none. So far. Thx again!
I’ve had a couple sets. They’re louder than KO2’s. But way more tire and better bang for the & imho.
I’ve had toyo, nitro, and yoko mid terrains in the not so distant past and they’re all louder than the KM3.
@Pacific Wheel sent me out some enkei rpt1 wheels a week or so ago.
finally made it to my guy’s shop for the tires. 17x9 +12 with 35x12.5 KM3.
they turned out awesome. Couldn’t be happier with the wheels, fitment, and customer service. Thanks.
where are you taking it here?
I am in Madison and also have a new 2020 raptor. I am dropping it for ceramic tomorrow evening......
just curious. saw your post the other day and was going to speak but forgot...
Looks better to boot.
Im on the verge of swapping out my TRDPro 4Runner, also waiting on a LF no graphics....love my Toyotas, but I am a long time raptor drooler and can't wait.....

I was referring to a couple of the posts in this thread referring to later '19 ones having the issue. I did see the April part dates, and hope that maybe they've solved the issue.....I am still set on a 2020. looked over a lead foot one last week, but think ive decided on white....
thanks
thanks....thats why I was asking because, I did read this thread backwards....and I noted that some late '19 owners having the issues and or heat the onset.....
theres a 2020 802a Leadfoot hitting the lot in 10-12 days here and I have FROR.....
lame first post here, but I'm in the market for a 2020. a friend had this issue on his, and it was warrantied.....
am I to expect that even the builds as of now (ie late late 19 and 2020+) and forward are still subject to the cam phaser failures?
tia.
