If the 2011 does have some form of "modified manual" mode then that might be a very useful feature.
(That is what I tell myself to help alleviate the pain of waiting.)
It would be very useful off-road and may help erase most of the transmission gremlins people have complained about in the past...
I'm sure all of you have seen the Edmunds "Inside Line" article which does a balanced comparison of the two engines with similar conditions as part of their standard evaluation. I think the 6.2L edges the 5.4L in the numbers but not to the degree you would assume based on the displacement...
Well I took my first test drive of a Raptor. She was a black beauty. 5.4L with the decal option and the Sony radio. Went with the dealer and my 7 year-old who was in the back. By the way he fit just fine, with a booster.
