One 10" bar is fine for Aux 2. Two of them will blow the circuit. if you want to wire both lights to one switch you need to use a relay. A 30a relay will cover the output needed as it is wired to the battery and the circuit that connects from the relay to the Aux switch draws minimal power...
I don't think the Aux switch can run the Onyx6 as a stand alone. That's the reason for the relay. You may be right at the thresehold of the Aux switch but I wouldn't recommend it. Safer to run a relay
Great pics Hollywood. Looks like Mark and Denise were on that run as well. They are awesome!
Quick question -- how did your buddy's R do on gas? Did he make it from gas station to gas station or did he have to use extra fuel?
I did Onyx6 Hybrid Laser behind the grill. Took me a few try’s to get them aligned but I have no complaints. They outshine the S8 bar along with Squandron Pros i had on the Gen 2.
I really wanted to pick up a 24 for the dual live valve suspension but I didn't like any of the color options. I'll just stick with my 22 till they have an option that I like enough to pull the trigger, or find an R that isn't abused and at a reasonable price (not going to happen)
geez -- you just sold EXO so well that I'm now looking at their schedule for a 4th trip. I did my 3 trips in my Gen 2 with Deavers and FRS. I really want to get out in my Gen 3 37PP. My last trip, there were several Gen 3's that were typically in the front of the pack, well, errr, I mean, in...
I'm no expert but here is what I've seen in addition to the speed sensors:
spare tie rods should be on the list. You hit a deep water rut at speed and those are the first thing to bend/break. This has happened to me but I didn't realize it was bent till I got back on the pavement.
Exo...
You can find Gen 3's in the upper $60's now. Just got to be willing to travel. quick search and I found this one. Didn't look into the details though...
I moved the spare over and mounted the jack next to it. Freed up a ton of space near the tailgate this is on my Gen 2 but it transferred over to my Gen 3 37PP with no problems
LOL...this is so true. I've been on three Exo runs and it's always the modified trucks that have issues. For Shelby Raptors, or people who add the ADD light bar that attaches to the bed rails, this is always the first thing rattle loose. they take them off and it then rides on the chase...
yes, with no weight in the back, the rake is steep and in my opinion, the ride is not quite as nice. Unless I'm taking stuff to the dump or using the bed to haul something else, the additional weight is there all the time. The 2nd spare lays flat in the bed so I can run a tonneau cover. I'm...
With 500lbs you’ll definitely want different springs in the rear
I did eibach hd in the rear, it adds 2.5” to the height. Stock springs up front. I run a second spare, a badlands jack, shovel, traction boards, a 17” Blackstone griddle, a Roam case, a couple of chairs, and even an umbrella...
Some one said the engines are the same. They maybe the same on paper but power delivery is way different.
I went from a Gen 2 with FRS and Deavers to a Gen 3. The suspension comparison isn’t even close. Gen 3 is so much better.
I had XL80's on the A Pillar and hated them. The reflection off the hood was awful. I think Nex bought them from me when I sold them. After that, I had S8 behind the grill and loved the setup. With the Gen 3 I went with Onyx6 laser hybrid lights. Holy crap, these things are awesome.
