Anyone rocking the new Toyo A/T III? They look like a nice update and more close to the BFG KO2. My past experience with the A/T II on my other trucks was great and as I am getting ready for new tires I was thinking of going Toyo again. So far I have failed to be impressed with my BFG KO (not...
You're not far off.
Docs from the FCC based on that ID it is a LoJack device.

Nope not OEM. The OEM HID ballast mounts to the bottom of the HID headlight housings.
Looking at your posts it appears that you have a 2011 truck. As I recall Ford did not add the HID headlights until 2013. So if you want to go Ford OEM parts you would have to get some other bits such as the...
Newborn is the reason I got my Raptor. Had to make the move from a scab F-150 to something bigger. Went with my Screw 2013 Raptor and have not had a problem with the car seat ever. Has so much room for a very large rear facing seat.
Kiddo is now 2 and I am getting ready to turn the seat...
Been Ford trucks all along.
'86 F-150
And an '05
Actually miss the '86 it was a fun little truck, not as much power as the Raptor, but great for what it was.
Oh and the '13 Raptor now
(yup all white trucks)
Might take some doing but an option would be to go with bright amber/yellow LED modules in half the light and see if there is a way to rewire them such that the turn signal is only using that half. But this may require some creative planning as they likely use the same wire for both turn and...
Had a couple made from blanks that didn't have the correct chip. They opened the door fine but triggered the alarm. Had to put the correct key in to stop it from going off.

I am having issues with the passenger side light sometimes failing to fire. Might have to go ahead and build a relay harness for them.
Truck had HIDs, previous owner downgraded (who the hell knows why), I just restored with headlights I bought here...
If you are going 100% OEM for the headlight assemblies you will need a relay kit to provide power to the ballasts something like the Morimoto Kit. This will allow you to power the system and control it correctly.
@NE Ford,
To clarify my earlier question about connecting to the original HID connections I am looking to see if the 4 pin cable is still inside the housings that would connect to the OE ballasts and the hi/low solenoid.
One last request just so I know what I might be getting into. Could you...
Quick question, but I am likely interested.
Do you happen to know what the back plastic is made of? Looking at the pictures I am guessing ABS. And will this plug into a truck that was originally HID without additional hardware?
Thanks
So here is what I have on the passenger side light for wires and the matching PINs in the original connector.
PIN - Colors - Function
1 - blue / lt-blue - low beam signal
2 - purple / red - constant on (20A)
3 - purple / orange - high beam signal
4 - black - neutral
Some of the data on...
Previous owner of my truck did this. They just cut the original wires and added connectors for the halogen lights. I can take a picture of the wires here in a little bit if that will help.
Keep me in mind if you go forward and are looking to sell the HIDs. I would like to restore mine to...
Anyone know where to get the supplemental manual for the Gen 1 (6.2L) Roush kits? My truck did not come with that info and I am thinking that there is some maintenance that might be coming up. Would like to make sure I have the papers so I know what I have to look out for.
And, yes I have...
