For ease of install you can’t go wrong with JLT. I had one on my 2014 for a little while until one of the fittings broke. I replaced it with one of Bob’s Auto Sports catch cans / oil separator and have been pleased with its performance. It seems to catch more oil than the JLT.

We’re you able to get the same type? That was my first choice and I ordered two different Motorcraft blades from Rock Auto and neither one was the same as the originals. If so what part number did you order.

I think you are asking for trouble using anything less than 93/91 octane if your Roush is supercharged. If you were in a pickle and 87 was all that was available I would definitely stay out of boost.

I also was bothered by my Surefire flashlight rattling around so I put it in a neoprene bottle koozie. It works great and I don’t worry about someone borrowing it since it’s out of sight.

I made the mistake of driving down a road that was freshly re coated in my old F250 and the wheel wells and both sides were covered in a black tar like substance. My brother recommended using diesel fuel for removal and it worked like a charm.

I have good luck using Trim Shine from Stoner. It does a great job of bringing the original color back. It also does a great job on the steps on my Raptor without making them slick.

I would suggest looking at Corsa Extreme for exhaust. That is what I decided on after researching and it sounds awesome. Looking forward to the pics.

Not sure on the Gen 2 but I was able to mount a 30” bar to the grill brackets on my Gen 1 no problem. I got a great deal on some KC LED bars from Tire Rack when I assume they were closing them out since they don’t carry KC now. I also put a 20” in the bumper and the 30” in the grill puts out a...
I have the Corsa Extreme with the black tips and have absolutely no drone. It is the perfect sounding exhaust for the gen 1 with the only negative being the price. I purchased mine when they were offering a rebate and the vendor had a promo code so I ending up paying a little over $900.

I cut my factory antenna so it would clear my garage door but was still higher than the roof. I haven’t noticed any reception issues since making the modification.

I been going back and forth on selling my 2014 with 27,000 miles. Carvana offered me $50k in June but the dealer I bought it from offered me $56k trade in but I don’t need another vehicle. I agree that non factory don’t increase value most of the time.

I went to a Valvoline Quick change in my Toyota Tacoma for an oil change before a trip to the beach. I had a bunch to do before the trip and figured I would save some time by having them do it instead of the Toyota dealer. There was a radio station doing a broadcast from there and they had free...
I have 4 factory keys for my Raptor. I ordered 2 factory blanks on eBay and had my local dealer cut them and using my 2 factory keys programmed them no problem in the parking lot. The best part was the dealer parts dept cut them at no charge the catch being they would not be responsible if they...
Also know that Ford keys can be cloned if a vehicle only comes with one key. My Shelby only had one key and the locksmith that had come out to make a second key explained that the cloned key would start the car but I would not be able to use it to make a third. I ended up having them give me...
Nice truck. I also stepped into the Raptor from a F250 CC Lariat. I put cubes , 20” bar and a 30” bar behind the grill and the hardest part was hooking up the juice to the outfitter switches.

My brother is the diesel tech at a Ford dealer and one of the fracking companies brought it a F350 that had under 5000 miles on the odometer but according to the idle meter he doesn’t think they ever shut it off. I think it was in for turbo issues but no warranty per Ford.

I looked at the McGard tailgate lock but thought being mostly plastic it would be easy to defeat. I ended up getting a 304 stainless hose clamp and used that instead having my wife hold the tailgate at a 45 degree angle while I tightened it.

I ended up going with a Bob’s Oil Separator on my 2014 since that is what I put on my Shelby in 2012. I like that it is super easy to drain with the drain valve on the bottom and it catches about a 1/4 cup every oil change. The main reason I chose this one is that the factory PVC hose is 5/8”...
