Nobody is arguing what it can and cant do on the street Nor am i arguing what it can do offroad or on you ranch, the question on this forum was what did he have to do to make the 37's fit without rubbing. I think i answered that with a 3" body and mid perch it still rubs, i will let you know...
A huge Problem????? Ive never had a problem with mine, i rub the inner fender well a little when i turn a hit a bump. Thats not a problem for me since i dont offroad. And if it was all i would have to do is cut some of the inner fender well out. Ive been driving my truck around for almost a...
you didnt happen to get pics of the brackets on the back of the seat did you. These instructions suck. By the looks of it im gonna have to drill out a hole in the factory bracket for the bolt they sent to fit. I wanna make sure before i start drilling and the owner of LMI said they dont have...
they must be, i guess some of these guys really think that everyone buys a raptor to do what it was designed to do, Kinda like a lot of people that buys a diesel truck doesnt haul anything, they buy it because it looks good and they can get big power out of it.
and you cant fix being a dumb ass like you are but you are the one that's gonna have to deal with that the rest of your life. If i wanted a Chevy on 37's i would have a Chevy on 37's. but guess what! I have a Raptor on 37's and have no issues except for an occasional dumb ass like you. I could...
Ive got 37x13.50's, Im running a 3" body lift on mid perch and i only rub when turning and i hit a bump. I dont do anything extreme tho. Mine is just a normal everyday driver. I hit some very small jumps going straight on with not rubbing!
i dont have anything right now. I was thinking about going with a kicker ix1000.1 for the subs because you dont have to have a line output converter and then use another brand amp for the mids and highs because ive heard kickers mids/high amps dont sound as good as others. but other that that...
Im replacing My factory sub and installing a 2.5 seat lift to fit some bigger subs. im also installing new door speaker and a new amp for those, What do i need to make this work, I know i need some type of processor with the sync system, I have the factory nav and its a 2011. Any help will...
there was a tread a while back were a guy a 07 into a raptor. he had to cut a little off the frame in the front and it bolted right up. nothing major. and as far as the width you can trim the sides of the bumper and put the plastic end caps back in
its pretty easy when you've pulled 100's of them. I own my own tint shop. i used a wide blade paint can opener that is bent a little more than what it comes. put pressure on the clips and barely tap the bottom of the mirror with a small rubber hammer. it will start moving and slide right off
they were in it when it arrived at my shop for me to put on, and they actually are raised up areas that look like weld splatter. I use to weld for a living so i know a little about it, Im defiantly not and expert, I was a line welder for steel joist.
these were my main issues. the rust coming thru the tube were no seams or welds are. And I am in no way badmouthing you or you business. Like i said before, I think he is a great guy! I just thought powder coating was supposed to be more durable than paint
water does not turn rust color without metal to rust. and i think it should be warrantied, it shouldn't be my responsibility to fix the issue on a bumper that is only 8 months old, and its not only just the seams that is rusting, rust is coming thru on the tube as well,
I sent an email with pics, They arnt answering their phone. i tried calling every day for over a week, Tim is a good guy, he helped me out with a light issue before! this was his response!
Chris,
The best way to fix that is rustoleum truck bed liner. Its available at Home depot. It...
silicon is not a rust preventative. the use of silicone sealants on painted metal can cause rust. After some reading I have found that there are two types of silicone sealants; neutral (non-corrosive) cure silicone and acid curing silicone. So when Wicked informs me to use silicon they need to...
the guys at wicked told me to put silicon in the corners and paint over it with rustoleum paint, Silicon will cause rust. They actually said that is what they are doing in the manufacturing process on their end. I do live in Florida but no where near the beach!
