I did a search and snagged a pic. I'd love to know more.
I've read that 600HP N/A from these is doable with a cam swap and some other relatively simple upgrades. I like that a lot more than adding a blower to the 6.2
Doug's kit shortens the overall length of the Gen 2 shock which limits the travel vs a stock Gen 2 shock. Suspension travel vs the stock Gen 1 shocks remains the same. The KHC buckets allow you to run a full length Gen 2 shock and achieve the similar travel #'s as a Gen 2 raptor. There is a...
I did Doug's kit in the Front with brand new Gen1 springs. In the rear, I did the KHC relocated mounts with rebuilt and revalved Gen2 shocks all around. I'm happy with the ride and overall performance, but I think I'd do the coil buckets if I had to do again. I like the idea of the longer...
I've had this happen also. My truck has the 801a, luxury package, and climate control. My a/c blowing hot and the door failed open to outside air. The a/c wont cool the truck down when outside temps are near 120*. I removed the blower and pulled the door down and put a drywall screw in it to...
I just shipped mine to TSW and the package weight for all 4 shocks was 65lbs. In the US at least and with FedEx, you can avoid a weight surcharge if you ship in separate boxes. I found this out after it was too late.
Hey Sniper,
Yes, I still have 5x Cold Shot / Gunk R12 14OZ Cans. Let me know if you interested. I'd like to be done with them, so willing to make a deal.
Thanks for the inquiry,
Eric
Stock springs have been on Mid-Perch for 11 years and I have a winch/plate/steel cable so that may have contributed to sag over time. My tires are worn also and my front fender height is right at 42" and rear at 43" which is inline with where others have been post conversion.
I had my Mikra Shock Conversion installed yesterday at TSW Offroad AZ. The Gen2 shocks were re-valved for better performance and I replaced the upper control arms, isolators, and stock Gen 1 springs. For the rear, I added the Gen 2 KHC shock mounts and am hoping to add deavers down the road...
Same. I went mid perch on my 2013 with 300 miles on it. You will be happy with this setup for your needs. Don't need any extra parts and every aspect of the driving experience is improved.
I believe there's a TSB for a power steering hose. You can read some here:

I had a replacement Ford rack installed at a local general maintenance shop and then upgraded to a PS filter cooler...
I need a sanity check:
My Gen1 has 72K on her and my rebuilt shocks are done at 2yrs and 15K with light use. The truck is off road a decent amount, but typically forest roads and not at high speed. I'm going with rebuilt Gen2 Shocks with the Mikra kit and want to replace all of the other...
