Just sold the 2023 Urus S for a limited 2024 Urus Performante. Along with full carbon fiber hood roof and exterior parts it has a standard akrapovic exhaust that is the first of my stable mates that equals or exceeds the raptor R sound.
Not sure the correct forum. However on startup in the last week(750miles) when I start the truck I get a very strong gasoline smell in the cabin. Only lasts a couple of minutes after I roll the windows down and drive a few minutes. Any ideas. Otherwise it drives normally
Yeah out of all my sports cars the raptor r has the second best sounding exhaust. I like the burbles and pops. My 2023 Urus has the best exhaust however and its exhaust (and looks) turns heads while driving. The raptor even in Baja does not so I wonder how much is pumped into the cabin?
Awesome just ordered mine with the point too. So far was able to get a free rubber bed mat, sun shades and now the black lug nuts. Pretty cool offering from ford to do this.
Kuat rack over retrax pro lx. I may drop down the rack to a “mid” and buy new side sections. The rack itself is easily adjusted from full to mid but figured I’d start at full height which is even with the cab
Added retrax pro XR power toneau cover installed today. Works and looks great. Ordered the Kuat overland kit (ibex)
PPF, tint and ceramic done last week
No - installer makes cuts right at graphic application and its an invisible seem. The graphics are Matte so gloss film would mess up the look. Honestly I’ve never found I needed to PPF more the the first 3 inches of the hood given the height of the truck (it’s a lot different than a sports car...
Just back from paint correction, front PPF as well as those stupid gloss black B pillars, tint and ceramic coating. Up next retrax pro lx and then maybe some racks, retractable tent and lights up front
My local shop said it did not after calling real truck. I went with the RETRAX PRO XR so I can add side rales. I saw a good option to add the remote to the inside of the truck bed rather than keep on keychain so I think aside from programming to the OEM keyfab its pretty similar.
Something is clearly wrong with your truck @AZ Raptor. My truck was built and shipped and delivered within a 3.5 week window. It only had 14 miles on the ODO so someone is driving/testing your truck a lot. If you end up getting it make sure you know your lemon laws for the state assuming you...
@Stormtrooper i think you’ll be fine. Mine seems to be in great shape with zero issues (built 4/3). I suspect they figured out the early production issues
only issue thus far is my CarPlay yesterday was cutting out every few minutes. it was pretty annoying but pretty minor IMO for a mass produced car. No engine vibration or delayed starts, loose panels etc.
