Any stickers including the go fast ones put on by Ford cheapen the truck imho. The truck speakes for itself.. The modifications that mine have let's the truck speak for itself.
The trick is doing the testing and passing DOT which is the only way I will roll. Had the JW Speaker lights on my Jeep and the Hella HID's that are on there now beat the hell out of them.
LED is clearly the way of the future in lighting.
Hmmmmmm Bad lot of aluminum from China maybe? The incorrect heat treat will kill strength. Looks ugly – bet those would give good grip on wood and ice though..
Good lord--I have no comment. Cannot imagine starting the engine like that. This is a good reason to go have the vehicle serviced by someone who knows what they are doing..
Will tell you this on the "door" issue if mine starts popping again after replacing it once already I will just go trade it in. The Raptor is a nice truck but it does have issues.
I have done a Driveshaft, Moon Roof, wiring harness issue plug, blending door issue, seat heater dead, drivers...
I rotate mine every 4k or so, Madcow bring it down here I can hook a brutha up. Having mine done at the same place with at least 15 of my trucks over the years and they pretty much only do 4wd's. My wheel is always perfectly straight--Easy Fix and tires wear flat--not even a little scuffing or...
"HEY HEY HEY" ---- in my best Bill Cosby voice!!!
Seriously just buy a new cover will be expensive and a upolstry shop can replace the foam. Enjoy it and go on.
Hey now that I know you are a Jeep boy I am humbled. I have a highly modified Jeep myself completely different kind of vehicle but a lot of fun. The truck is different---also by doing half assed modifications you do not help the resale value.
Hey don't get mad at me for telling the truth...
Mine did it as well---bad actuator---eventually you will have to get it fixed. Fortunately mine did it during the first year so Ford picked up the tab.
Very common problem---when I drove up the service drive and was telling the advisor what it was doing as soon as I said it is "popping behind...
Well I am glad you saw the light lol...
Seriously just do this little test then:
Turn wheel to lock or almost lock position then turn off truck, get out of truck and look at the position of the tire in relation to the closest contact points that the tire would come into contact with as the...
Yes mine died and it had only been opened twice.... Was an expensive fix BUT learned a lesson. Do not ever open the sun roof. Opened and closed mine after the repair to verify it worked properly. It will never be opened again as long as I own the truck. From what the service writer told me it...
Sorry but the statement I made is 100% correct. "Little" is a very subjective term.. Ivan Stewart would have a different definition than say you would..
Been there done that too many times with the rub thing.
Off road you are going to really screw up your truck. You need to do some big time trimming. Rookies like this telling people that everything is good to go will end costing someone money...
DO NOT ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS---hard lesson from 25 years ago!!!!
Mine is just a tool to me nothing more nothing less---will be getting another truck next year just because I trade gassers at 75-100k. If the Raptor is still the best truck for me so be it I will get another.
That being said today the Raptor will be the choice for my 2015 model, will that be...
I have a friend who has these on his truck and loves them. I have been in it and it rides great. Off road only been on the soft stuff with them but just make sure that if you take them off road that they actually have 3 ply sidewalls. Not "rated" but actually have them--that is a deal breaker...
I have spent quite a bit of time in at the ranch in ugly desert 110 conditions ruinning with the AC on full.
Would suggest the larger by 3 qt's finned tranny pan and also switch to Amsoil fluid. I did and my tranny has never seen over 215 except once when I was running at high speed in 105...
