Crap, just saw...
I always told my shop guys if you damage it -own up to it. I understand nobody is perfect, but if you lie to me or a customer, rent a trailer because there is a good chance your tool box is going home with you.
I hate spineless guys like that.
Reminds me of a friend's dealership experience...
The speeds are going to be reasonable, so this isnt going to turn into a frame bending/ A arm destroying carnage run. But… a Raptor's reasonable speed is worlds apart from another 4X4.
As far as the room situation, Hopefully today (time allowing) I am going to take a run to the Silver...
The tire chunking is normal. It's from spinning your tires while off road, it doesnt take a lot to chunk your tires.
Got nothing in regard to your ride quality, as I havent noticed that with mine.
This is exactly what needs to be done, because it removes the springs from having to control axle torque. The two link will provide the torque control by tying the axle to the frame of the truck. All the springs will have to do is hold the truck up. For this to work it is very critical that (as...
I don’t have a problem with non-Raptors, but he might have a problem keeping up without breaking something, because Vanilla's & my "just cruising" pace was pretty quick on the pre-runs. When I ran the first section with the local 4X4 group the pace was a lot slower that what Vanilla and I ran it...
I haven’t had any confrontations with Dodge owners, (I did have one kid a Cheby get all tweeked with me over something I did, hell if I know what it was. He ran out of steam trying to catch me.) but I have noticed that the Dodge owners tend to be first rate tools when it comes to driving in...
Sounds good. I have a book that has some ghost towns in it, but sometimes the info is dated so by 2012 the vandals have stolen everything and there's nothing to see.
I think Hockster covered the fuel issue & how the reduced deprecation of the Raptor will help offset that. However the remaining thing to think about is the Raptor's width, which while it has a lot of advantages, it also brings some disadvantages.
This thing is freaking wide and that can...
Yeah, Silver Legacy, Harrah's, El Dorado, the ones right in downtown.

Down for that as well..Keep us all posted.
Some random thoughts regarding rooms. The Casinos downtown tend to have parking garages & they can get a bit tight height & width wise, so the best choices for rooms with good parking might be the outlying places like the Pepermill, Atlantis, Grand Sierra, or John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks. We...
How many are planning on getting a room here in Reno? Depending on how many, we might be able to get a deal from one of the hotel/casinios. Plus it will make it easier for everyone to get together.
No regrets- I got an undercover tonneau, it's light enough so the wife and I can take it off. They are only availble in black, so if you want be all matching color wise your out of luck. Allows me to leave stuff back there and not have to worry about it disappearing.
Only time I see other Raptors is when I am in my wife's truck or one of my work vehicles, so waving puts me in the "I really want one of them" category.
