Going on a 3,000 mi road trip so figured I would get my 1st oil change at 2,000 miles today from the dealer. I happened to notice the technician (??) having an issue getting my Raptor into the service bay put did not pay it a lot of attention. As I was leaving I happened to notice pretty Ford blue paint on my drivers side front bumper! The sob had hit a bollard and scraped the hell out of my bumper. THEN on top of that I see that the drivers side running board is scraped down past the metal. So go back in, get the manager. The tech denies everything. We go over to the lift and lo and behold there is the coating from my running board on the lift upright. Gee, how did that get there??? Needless to say the dealer is getting me a new set of running boards and fixing the bumper. (not real worried about the bumper have an ADD bumper on order.
While it bothers me some that it happened it is called an accident, not an on purpose but to try to ignore it and then act like it did not happen ****** me off!
I have read on the forum of this happening to others. One would think that the dealer would have some of the better techs but not so.
Bottom line the techs are not aware of the Raptors width.
