Meant to comment on this a little while after the OP originally posted this thread and forgot about it but figure I'll post my experience now. I've never had trans issues w/ my 2014 ( but have read about others with earlier model year trucks that suffered from the molded lead frame problems )...

Bumping this one up fellas... @Chzhead - did redoing the connections or checking out the ground/rest of the wiring ever resolve this ? If not, what was the culprit ? It almost sounded like a partial/loose/poor connection somewhere along the wiring due to the "intermittent" or random nature of...

That's a very blue truck. Def sand it down & do it yourself the right way (consider using an adhesion promoter, SEM makes some good stuff), g'luck !

There's this thing called the owner's manual, might wanna give that a try...? :)
