Yes, I agree totally anecdotal based on the 3 in my neighborhood. I should have prefaced that. 100 percent the service dealers here in OC have issues fixing Raptors. I was warned by my local off road shop about this but when you are under warranty you have no choice. They fixed the diff...
I have had a 2018 and now have 2019...nothing and I mean nothing drives like a Raptor. I'll be getting rid of the 19. I love that truck and it still brings a smile to face when I drive it and look at. Nothing comes close to a Raptor. But...after 60000 miles they begin to break and Ford...
Sorry for the late reply...no sunroof on this Raptor. Maybe the AC? Part came in yesterday so should have it fixed by cob Monday and should know more. I love this truck but it is down way to much so will be getting rid of it :(.
Had a Gen 2 for 4 years now (first one was stolen :(. I love my Raptor, everything about it the looks and how it drives. Nothing comes close to it. But it has been in the shop a ton, and is currently on the dead line report for a "key not detected" issue. Another problem is that the Ford...
Thanks a bunch...this forum is too cool. I think its the antenna too, or an update that did not go through. Ford was not much help on the phone. At least the warranty will cover the tow truck that I'll need to get it to the dealer. Just a pain the ass though...
I am having the same issue. What ended up fixing it? Replaced FOB battery, disconnected truck battery. FOB will lock/unlock and autostart truck, just wont be detected.
I'll call the dealer and ask for help. I don't see anything on the Ford app showing an OTA update patch. Unfortunately (or fortunately) on a short vacation trip so will have to wait a few days.
Anyone else having this issue. Just happened tonight to me. I have already
-replaced key fob battery
-disconnected truck battery for 15 minutes
-fob will auto start the truck but still can't be detected once inside the truck.
-did the cup holder thing, still no joy
Does anyone think the Ford...
Has anyone had issues with a service dealer taking too long with your truck. Tuttle Click here in Irvine, CA has had my truck for almost 2 months and still no resolution on a differential issue that I am fairly convinced they caused. I spoken with the GM at the dealer and Ford Corporate and...
Just jumping in here. Irvine Tutle Click is pretty bad as well. They have had my truck for almost a month to replace a ball bearing in the differential (they they broke when fixing a diff leak). I love my Raptor but am definitely thinking about getting rid of it because of the service issues...
Thanks for posting this. I was about to buy something but something seemed off by their email response to me when I asked a question as well as the PO Box in San Clemente but a area code in Nor Cal. Anyway, sorry you have to deal with this but thanks for the heads up.
I have the Ford Gold Certified ESP that came with the 2019 truck from the dealer in Texas I bought the truck from and the solenoid harness on the rear shock went bad one week after receiving the truck here in SoCal. The SoCal dealer said it was not covered by the warranty. Has anyone had this...
I have the Ford Gold Certified ESP that came with the 2019 truck from the dealer (used) and the solenoid harness on the rear shock went bad one week after receiving the truck here in SoCal. The dealer said it was not covered by the warranty. On my 18 it did not cover the fuel injectors and...
Thanks. Sorry, another random question- do you have rubber plugs for the holes? I looking at the same cover on Amazon and trying to figure out what makes the most sense. Thanks Jeff
Hello Everyone, After looking a rebels for a long while I finally pulled the trigger on a used 2018 Raptor.
It is my first truck and I love it. Purchased used at a Mercedes dealer and it is great condition inside and out and seems to drive great. However, the suspension is pretty...
