I have 2 pairs of BD Squadron Pros from my old truck that I plan on installing on my new Gen 3. I ordered 2 pairs of OEM to 2 pole WP that you sell. That should work with the OEM fog light switch and AUX 1 without having to run anything else or am I missing something?
Just noticed this issue on my 1 week old 2024. If this was a TSB from over 2 years ago how is this still an issue on brand new trucks? Sitting in the truck with HVAC and ventilated seats off and I still hear a pretty loud fan running. Searched around and found some vents near the rear seats...
Finally caved and picked up a Carbonized Gray Gen 3 with a moonroof after scouring the internet to find a Shelter Green with no moonroof. 3rd world problems. Needless to say I’m extremely happy. This thing rides like a Towncar compared to my Gen 2 Supercab.
750 miles from Knoxville to NY with this on the back. Got about 14 mpg. Car is right around 3000lb not sure how much the Uhaul auto transporter weighs, I’d guess around 1000lbs The Raptor rides fine with the weight, but you feel it in the curves and when you get on the brakes obviously.
Wheels look good, love the fenders. I was looking at the Anderson Composites wide fenders but they don't have provisions for the LEDs and they're a little pricey. How was your experience with them? Looks like you have the OEM size carbon.
I got a tune from Jim at JDM also. No complaints, truck makes noticeably more power, especially towards redline where it normally dies off. Shifts are firmer also if that's your thing.
I wondered about this when I first got my truck, but after living with it for a while I think there was a reason why it doesn't light up. Do you get a reflection in your rear window in the dark? Maybe Ford thought it could distract drivers. Not sure if this is more pronounced in my truck because...
I have the Weathertech entire vehicle set. They're decent quality, the fit is excellent but it is a pain in the ass putting them in and out. I usually just put them in if I know the truck will be sitting more than a few days. When rolled up it I can stuff it under the back seat.
Can the dealer order the BSM tail lights for you? Would those plug in to the connector thats on you truck? Dealer should eat the cost difference if they will fit. 9 sets of lights is ridiculous.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm always leery of these updates. Sometimes they wind up causing more problems than they fix. I have an issue with carplay not always connecting right away, seems like it happens more if my phone display is in any state of being used while I plug it in. Reseting...
You said the other trucks on the dealers lot had the same problem. Were they all this type of light, were any of them the other style taillight with blind spot monitoring?
