I wish I could've have kept the tool box only (with rack setup) like I had on my last truck. 6yrs, and I never really ran into a cargo issue I couldn't handle (Silverado 1500/Crew/ShortBed). Becoming a "family man" with a dog instantly required a secure and weatherproof option to cram whatever...
My garage isn't a tight fit as its more of a barn, but I like having the truck squared to maintain my work space(s). I used reflective caution tape on the floor to mark my outer lines and then have "T" taped out that i line up with my hitch via camera as I'm backing in. The reflective tape is...
I went back and forth between this cover and the "faux leather/diamond stiched" offering.
I ended up wit this: (Link)
No tape for install, uses a couple elastic bands like others have posted. Just like @RustyNutz (lol) was trying to mitigate the damage from the furry family member.
Nice DIY!
Are you setup so that the 2 x 6 banks are for the pass thru and the engine bay wiring clusters? Then you're able to "patch" whatever you want to a live stud on left?
I had known about Diamond Back covers since my entry into the truck word, always wanted one for the rugged look and build quality. With the Raptor, I never actually wanted to get a cover , but family needs dictated installing. My one requirement was that I need to run a set of bed racks for...
What setup is this? I've got the same cover and run the Yakima Rack, wondering if I fit a pair or cross bars and a smaller basket between the 2 set of uprights.
Not today, but I've been busy the last few weeks thanks to the guys at @OffroadAlliance.com - Really can't say enough about Chris and the rest of the crew over there. Had my truck 2 months and 99% of my aftermarket support has been thru them.
Also, FRF has been an invaluable resource. Thanks to...

NY with the front plate also. I ordered my @Swarfworks plate bracket the day the truck showed up. The thing is rock solid. My main goal was to not block the factory intercooler location. I did come across...
I bought from Koons Sterling Ford (SCREW 802A) at the end of May. I think I got a pretty good deal at the time, certainly did not pay MSRP or anything close to. Truck was delivered about two weeks later on my birthday. No issue with transport besides Koons forgetting to arrange the transporter...
This post sent me down the rabbit hole...... Austin Weiss ran one of FLIR cameras on a build he did a few years back and I always thought it was super cool. I live on LI and it gets DARK, we've also got huge deer populations that don't seem to understand the concept of self preservation.
I was...
Agree. I was under the truck last night looking into adding some lights to the bottom of the canister for my Retrax. The wiring is super thin, even at the home run from engine bay to the switch. On my last truck I tapped into the trailer harness for fulltime/dedicated power and added an IP67...
Any more details?
The NMO mount's universal. I actually have the BPD dual NMO mount w/ Baja designs lights. In terms antennas , no problem with the Fleet NMO threading on, but I will likely swap for a more traditional antenna with better reception.
@lawndartdesign on instagram has the same...
Yes. I'm waiting on a few parts and will be running the BPD with dual NMO's. One for the WeBoost and one for the 2way. I'll try to document install.
@LawnDartDesign on instagram has some good info on the setup and was largely my inspiration.
Also been ordering a ton of stuff from @OffroadAlliance.com , in particular Chris has been helping me also and the support has been great! I'm still trying to figure out my fog light setup, but whatever it is will be from ORA!
I have a Retrax Pro XR and Yakima Overhaul HD setup, plus I usually have a cooler, bed divider and misc. crap in the bed. 60% of the time, I'm also playing Uber for the wife and kid. Do I "qualify" for +3HD's or just +3?
Great looking truck (Fellow LIer) - what did the XPel run? I'm shopping around to get mine done. I'm also wanting to body match fenders/bumpers so Exclusive Vinyl could kill 2 birds with 1 stone for me.
So you are running the SkidPlate? Care to share what M/Y your truck is?
Has anyone ordered one of these (or anything from KHC) recently? I want some items but this saga and the responses have me worried. I know KHC is well known and most people are happy with their products.
Just installed McGard 64074 on my 2020 SCREW w/ factory bead locks. Torqued to 150lb (148lb in manual). There is a striking size difference b/t the stock and McGard's , especially in the seat. I couldn't stand my chrome lugs , thanks for all the info.
That looks like a Havis console on the work vehicle. Maybe give them a call and see if they have any HVAC kits, they do have a variety wide product catalog.
