if you want to print on vinyl let’s say a 8x11 sheet of vinyl, you’ll need to laminate the decals. Otherwise they won’t last outdoors. Then once you print on to the vinyl and want to cut it out, you’ll need a cutter capable of recognizing registration marks so it cuts perfectly around the...
OEM tailgates with the applique have holes in them, so I wouldn't worry about holes being drilled into the tailgate. As long as whoever is installing it assumes liability during install, don't sweat it.
Agree with the previous posts. Open up your hood and look and see where the fog wiring is wired up to. If they're wired up to Aux 2-4 you should see connections on the Green/Brown (Aux 2), Green/Blue (Aux 3) and Brown (Aux 4).
I’m also in Colorado and plan on getting this tune after the holidays are over. If I get the tune before you do, you’re more than welcome to check it out (assuming you’re close by).
It does a small amount and I figured as much before buying these. I tested down a dark street with no other ambient lighting and they’re plenty bright for my needs.
So I picked up the BD behind the grille set using squadron sport lights from John @Specialtyperformanceparts. He made me a custom harness so I could run the ambers separate from the whites. I also regained the factory upfitter switch 1 with his relocation harness.
First and foremost, I called...
I want to say, for how expensive this kit is, baja designs needs to refine some stuff. Maybe their lights are great but I feel like their designs could be better. Their directions were some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Wrong sized measurements in the directions, unclear pics, just bad...
So Baja designs listed those as 10mm bolts. I guess they are 8mm.
I am trying to loosen them now.
I have to do it from under the truck because I cannot get the trim piece just below the grille to pop off. My fingers are raw!
Guess i’ll Post in here too. I bought the Baja designs behind the grille lights but I cannot get the grille off to save my life. My hands are sore AF. Baja designs lists one way to remove the grille, M&R lists a totally different way. Neither of which are helping. Anyone have any ideas? Pretty...
Anyone done this? I am struggling here. Had an easier time putting in the IC than this. Baja designs instructions suck. Hoping someone has some pointers, been at trying to get the grille off for 2 hours now.
You’re a better man than I am, I gave up on the hot side pipes. Still have them in the garage but as you mentioned, they were a PITA to reach the turbos, etc.
A FMIC might give you better cooling temps, but not running a tune is a moot point. I plan on running a tune in the not so far future, and have no worries using this IC.
I believe adding an aftermarket BOV just gives you more of that BOV sound. No real gains come from it, at least to my...
The stereo as a whole is amazing. Noah did his magic, both with a clean install and the tune. It's night and day difference. I had 6 people sitting in my truck the other night who were blown away at how clear it sounds at loud volumes. Even more impressive is when its turned up loud and you...
@GooseTuned i asked on Facebook, but figured I’d ask here as well. Is it true you have to have a FMIC to run a stage 2 tune? I have a CV Fab Titan 2 IC…I would have gone a different route had I known
