designs and signs is the way to go, they have some great stuff already worked up and are also very easy to work with for custom stuff. They will make it however you want.
Well, some are very concerned about legal issues and liability if something where ever to happen. Personally I run DOT tires for long road trips and daily use if I don't have any offroad trips planned in the near future. That said, on the new KR2's, I drove from Santa Ana to Ensenada, MX, ran...
My personal best...new pads and rotors to metal on metal...375 mi, give or take a few. Rears seem to go first but the fronts crack and chunk out too, so results have varied. 700mi is more typical. Which is why they invented big pelican cases to carry spares! Lol.
Did I say I am hard on brakes? lol
No mini van! We had our first in Dec. , now we need to dump Patty's little M3 and get a Raptor Crew Cab, too hard to stuff the little one in her car and she does not like to drive the dually. There are options, LOL. And congrats!
If you really want to avoid rubbing issues you can cut back a few inches and weld in a new plate and paint it all nice, as was suggested. This really is preferred as big impacts will flex the LCA back and you will make contact. Also a good idea to thicken and gusset the OEM LCA mounts, they tend...
X2 on the G2 gears. Ran the 4:88's w 37's at both the NORRA 500 and the recent 1000 without gear issues. Beat on them without mercy, no issues. We got them installed at Randy's Ring and Pinion in WA. These are the Yukon guys and they do a lot of Ultra 4's and other trick stuff. They do it right.

Got some folks asking which version of the SDHQ bump kit it is. I got it in installed at SDHQ the first week in Sept. 2011. Here is a photo of what it looked like after some hard miles. Still working. Went to a welded on setup when I changed over to ICON.
What I really should have used was the word "Sag", they have just settled down from use. We went to +4 on the truck because of the load we carry.
