SVC Baja Front Bumper with Whipple

If this is still an ongoing issue I can take pictures of my front end and post, just let me know.

    Bump stop issue

I have enough hp that if I was running a pedal commander I don't think it would have enough traction to actually go anywhere other than just burn out all the time. I don't even want to imagine trying to start on a wet road, it's bad enough already lol... (I might have to get one now that I think...

    Bump stop issue

My raptor has the stage 2 whipple kit and it was dyno'd up here in washington at 525 at the wheels which should be about 620ish at the flywheel and it is an absolute monster, I love it. The drivetrain from my research should be fine, some say you have to upgrade the oil pump gear and others...

    Bump stop issue

I had an 05 f150 screw that I was contemplating taking the plunge and mid-traveling it with glass fenders and bedsides when a guy at my squadron mentioned he was selling my current truck and it was a no brainer. It would have been around 20k over the price of this truck to do a supercharged 6.2...

    Bump stop issue

Ramps are much softer if you just full send and let the suspension fully droop out to get more damping on landing... Just praise Dale and raise hell!

    Bump stop issue

Physics is weird though too so it depends on how the truck is hitting the tracks, it could be reacting like a g-out where the front is unloaded when the back comes into contact with the bump which would cause the back to bottom harder than if you were going over something like a speed bump.

    Bump stop issue

It's progressive, the initial spring rate will normally be softer and get progressively harder as the leaf reaches the end of its travel. It's much more controlled for your shock to deal with and they're infinitely better than the stock springs. If you want them to be a little harder you can get...

    Muffler dripping water (condensation)

Mine likes to drip black exhaust dirt water all over my driveway.

    Bump stop issue

The biggest thing is that the stock shocks and the leaf springs that are on the truck are designed to use their travel for your driving conditions. The stock shocks are meant to travel to give a softer ride and the progressive springs you have on your truck are going to be initially softer than...

@thevanillagorilla I'm running the deavers and fox 3.0 triple bypass in the rear and it always feels planted and composed especially on road, the stockers are too stiff when they need to be softer and too soft to stop you from bottoming out. I also have the svc adjustable bump kit and it's amazing.

Not at all, as far as a spring being a spring is concerned a good progressive leaf is just as good as a coil but the control arms vs the leaf locating the axle do create a difference but it really comes down to tuning. The only reason you don't see leaves as often on the ultra high end is...

GEN 1 SCabs with Sony - Replacing Sub

Yeah I have it sticking out a little bit under the 1/3 seat but that sub in a custom box will fit under completely if you're up for a little mdf dust everywhere.

GEN 1 SCabs with Sony - Replacing Sub

I am personally very impressed with the Digital Designs Audio 6.5" Sub and enclosure, it sticks out a little bit from under the rear seat but it is thin enough to barely fit under the seat and it is seriously impressively loud, like I am running 500w rms from an AudioControl 800.1 at 4 ohms to a...

The suspension theories on the two are effectively the same so other than weight balance it should react similarly if tuned correctly plus getting more travel will only make the results better.

2020 Limited. Sorry not a Raptor.

I sold my 05 f150 screw for my 2010 gen 1 and I could not stand the f150 forums, so much of it is just people either complaining or bashing on each other for no reason or, the worst part, spreading incorrect information.

    Adopted an orphaned Gen 1

I'm glad that people are still out here rescuing gen 1's instead of going out and buying gen 2's that they get annoyed with the extra electronics and other issues only to sell it and then rescue a gen 1. Beautiful truck!

    New to me Raptor!

FINALLY ANOTHER GEN 1 and another person with a canopy no less! I love it, too bad it's not blue... Really that ruby red is actually beautiul.

    Joined the Raptor Family

The list on that truck is pretty insane, I can't imagine the wait for it to be done. I just looked up vogue as I am in Oak Harbor and there is absolutely zero chance I would have imagined that they would work on a Raptor judging by their website. Looks like they would take one look at my gen 1...

Already have fast toys, wanted a truck.

I can't afford fast toys so I traded a slow truck for a fast(er) truck, congrats!

    Hi everyone!

In my completely unbiased professional opinion blue is obviously the best color for a raptor. Beautiful truck btw, congrats!

GEN 1 2011 - Why is my instrument cluster different?

Congratulations on the purchase that's a very clean gen 1. I like that color in particular if you couldn't tell...

New to me 2010 6.2l Scab

@Richard Hinsley It has 135k which is most of the reason I was able to afford it, thankfully it has spent most of it's time being a street queen or in a garage. @Pacific Wheel Thank you I was really torn on the look of it but it reminds me of what I wanted a full size bronco/raptor to look like...

New to me 2010 6.2l Scab

@CoronaRaptor I definitely don't need any excuses to take more photos and I would love to see a Dovetailed Prius Thank you for the welcome!

New to me 2010 6.2l Scab

I drove an 05 Screw for about 3 years but have always had delusions of taking the dive into $$$$ to make it really perform off-road. From day 1 I fell in love with the Gen 1 Raptor specifically the Blue Flame option, well a guy I work with mentioned that he was willing to sell his Gen 1 and I...
