I like the looks and hope that Ford tests it. One thing that really appealed to me about the current model is that Ford used a stock transmission when it tested the Raptor during the Baja 500 (I think it was).
The only reason I mentioned the width is because with a three-car garage, and with my mirrors folded in, I only have about a 2 inch clearance on either side. If the newer Raptor is wider, and you have a 2 or 3 car garage, it might be a problem.
My only concerns with the 2017 model are the width (I think it's 3" wider) and with the transmission (the current Raptors have Baja-proven trans). But this will depend too on how you'll use it.
I installed a 5 Star tune and after reading this post, was very attentive to any knocks. None were detected. But I did have to go back to the stock tune when I took it in for an emissions inspection...it didn't pass with the 91 Performance tuen.
TheDoubleAA,
Any chance you could create a screen like the last Raptor/Flag you posted, but without the Raptor in it? I like the subtle flag and think the "F150 Raptor SVT" colors are a perfect compliment to the muted flag and tire.
It appears to be a (very expensive IMO) security system. It would be nice if Ford provided other features that monitored diagnostic info that's maintained in the truck's computer, like oil life for instance.
I don't need to start my Raptor from Texas and since it doesn't have a GPS locator...
Raptor911, no that my babysitting responsibilities with my granddaughter have subsided and since I owe you lunch, let me know if you want to get together on Thursday.
