I have to agree with you, it would make me sick to have some flat rate ass hole tear into my truck. I sincerely hope they straighten this out for you...
When I picked up my 18 Leadfoot back in Oct me and my wife went over this truck and it was perfect and all shiny underneath. There is only one dirt spec in the paint and the lines and interior are very good, I'm gonna use this truck for 10 plus years so it had to be right
I looked into this a few months ago and I'm pretty sure the filter is not easily serviceable and a specific fluid is used. I'm used to servicing trans at 30000 intervals and not sure what the answer is. I guess we are forced to use the Factory maintenance schedule.
I'm guessing fuel must be getting back to the intake via vapor lines when filling with fuel. This is some what common on all vehicle makes, there may not be a fix for this as most Gen2 Raptors seem to do it
That's a lot of teardown to get at the cyl head. I'm curious how many hours the poor Tech got paid for that one. A new engine probably should have gone in while the cab was removed. Hopefully your fixed and it doesn't have to come apart again
I drive mine to work and that's it. Yes it is overkill and that's why I love it! I've been after one of these for almost 10 years and last October I finally was able to convince the wife to let me buy one. Now she's hooked and wants a cool car too!
