    Well if we’re just talking about keeping the inside of a vehicle a certain temperature, assuming heaters perform close to the same and the vehicles also insulate the same…wouldn’t the fact that idle times are almost the same dictate that the time before dying would also be close to the same?

    I’ve said multiple times that I probably won’t be keeping the Lightning. And the plus of being an adult…I don’t have to know what I want. I can just get on a list and make the decision whenever an allocation comes available.

    Is that a real thing? I’m not an electrician but starting up an electric heater doesn’t seem like it would kill such a huge battery…and if it does, you would just turn the heater down low and not have it cut off, then back up when the temp drops too much.

    For sure. For some reason, I rarely see this argument. 320 miles range looks great …190 does not. As I said, I assume most families have a second vehicle that isn’t EV. I can’t see having one as an only vehicle

    I’ve said multiple times that even 400 miles would be great. I’ve had multiple trips where an extra 50 miles would have been the difference between taking that vs my truck. 500 would be a game changer though

    I've never seen anything related to warranty refusal for PPF. I don't know that excess heat would be an issue since it shouldn't be opaque enough to gather heat or thick enough to insulate it...LEDs don't produce enough forward heat if anything. A good PPF should barely be detectable on there...

    I really don't want to be one of those people with 100 warranty claims or complaints. I want the truck to be 10/10. I've rarely claimed anything on previous trucks. Mine is in the first build week for MY23 (10/28 if I remember correctly). Sat in a lot until 12/19.

    Rear axle/diff, front CVs, hubs, exhaust, and various other fasteners and brackets under the truck. Yesterday I took the door panel off and even the lock assembly had rust. It’s pretty ridiculous considering it’s been in Louisiana, garage kept, and alway from salt its whole life.

    So I figured out my issue… the wire to the livevalve sensor/ride height sensor was loose and rubbing on the cv boot and had exposed wires that were shorting
