Boy, I feel dumb. I decided to pull down on the hand/star nuts that are attached to the latch mechanism on the rails. "Click" It sits flush once I pull those. Now I am happy. :-)
I need to post a picture of the latch mechanism, as that seems to be where there problem lies... but anyone else have their Roll-X not sitting flush as shown?
Hmm. I enabled the setting on my phone, but when I say "messages" to MFT it tells me my device is not supported. Does this setting merely allow message notification to sound through the MFT? Or should I be able to dictate texts and have replies read to me?
Looks like it is now supported... gonna try enabling this setting when I get in to the truck, next: How to allow SYNC to receive text messages from your iPhone | MyFord Touch | Ford.com
Do I really wait for 1,000 miles before towing?
Took delivery of my truck on Friday and had every intention of pulling my boat to the lake for this coming weekend... then I read in the owner's manual that I am supposed to wait until I hit 1,000 miles. What gives? I thought these trucks had no...
Poked through the manual and didn't see any way, but...
My old VW let me close everything up automatically. Any similar feature for us? Or do I have to manually close everything before getting out? (Man, I've become lazy... remember when windows had to be cranked?)
Picked up my truck on Friday and when I pair my iPhone via Bluetooth MFT says text isn't supported. Also, when I say "Bluetooth Audio" MFT always says that no device is sync'd and that it will search... then it finds my phone and plays my music.
Can anyone confirm that these are normal...
Damn. That SUCKS!
Please know, however, that there are civilians like me who truly appreciate our country's veterans, and who are raising children to do the same. Little solace, I know...
Placed my order with Morrie, yesterday. Sadly my tonneau will arrive before my truck, but I'm excited nonetheless!
FYI, Birdman did a great writeup about the RollX, here: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f11/bak-roll-x-install-review-21509/
Hmm, I have some Rhino ramps that I bought years ago for getting under my VW. They are awesome, but not the beefed up 12,000 GVW - not sure what the "basic" ones are rated to carry?
Would I be an idiot to used them, or should I just get new ones with the higher rating? Ford says the Raptor's...
Hrmm, maybe I'll do that. I'd rather have someone local, though. My mechanic in Milford is the best for repairs (Ace Auto), but for a custom exhaust I want someone who specializes in just that.
