    I had the dealer seal mine before delivery. I forget the name of the product/process, but it takes a full day to cure and supposedly bonds to the clearcoat. Anyway, 5 months later water still beads and rolls off as if I just waxed it. About once a month a wash and apply quick detail wax stuff...

    I'm with you, man. My unit has been sitting on the workbench for 2 months. I'm afraid of the pulling apart the dashboard, not the wiring. It just looks so scratchable and a scratch would make me insane.

    Yeah, I don't think it makes the install easier, but it makes it easy to uninstall (ie keeps warranty in tact).

    Bed extender is useful, as shown here: Tailgate step is a must. I love my moonroof - open in vent mode and open the dear slider - perfect amount of air flow for highway driving. Beadlock wheels look great - I get a lot of compliments on them. Front camera? Why not. With nav-TV it's useful even...

    Mine stays perfectly dry. When I shoot water sideways for washing I might get a couple of drips down the tailgate, but nothing gets into the box.
