Another Update, The CEL has disappeared. All is clear and the truck is happy. The Raptor ECU is very sensitive to have picked up on the loose dip stick and throw a CEL. Good monitoring I suppose. Lesson learnt on oil changes with this truck. The Fumoto valve is going on next oil change.

Update, I just finished at the shop with the Raptor. There was no leaks from the oil filter or drain plug. I removed the skid plate and power washed it clean, as there was oil Spilt on the inside from when We did the oil change. I have learned that this truck makes a heck of a mess when removing...

Thanks for the info, I am going to order the Fumoto F107SX valve to simplify this process for next time.

The truck is stock. I did notice this morning when I looked the truck over (oil change was done yesterday) that that oil dip stick was not in. It was just loosely hanging out. Could that cause the check engine light code.

Yes Canadian. I am in Toronto. I just checked the oil level. It is not low. A little high actually. (Not much) I am taking the truck back to the shop after work, and will put it up on the lift and look for any leaks.

I changed the oil for the first time using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5W 30 (6 quarts). I used the OEM Ford oil filter. Now the check engine light is on and I noticed oil on my driveway? Leak? Any help?

That is the route I think I am going. I have used Cobb products on my GTR and they have always been consistent.

What gas/octane are you guys running? We have 87/91/94 octane where I am.
