Depends on how much you stop to get out and check out the sights. But there’s no way in hell it takes 8 hrs. But keep in mind, some spots I was seeing what the truck could do at higher speeds so it didn’t take me long at all. There’s other trails out there, so maybe that’s what the book is...
Nah, not at all. It’s a very tame trail. I had my recovery boards, but I do wish I had a compressor to air down a bit. But it’s a very scenic drive. The switchbacks were pretty nuts. I went up the switchbacks to the park. You can go either way
I was alone, so I didn’t want to do anything crazy. I did the Shafer trail up to CanyonLands National Park. It was an awesome trail that even some smaller suvs can do. Awesome sights. Highly recommend it. I was only there one night, so I didn’t look up any other trails.
It’s so funny you are saying this. The full screen CarPlay update hit the truck last Thursday. I go to start the truck a few days later (she’s not a daily driver) bam, I get the weird infamous thud from the speakers, won’t start. Threw my Noco on it, started right up. But now, my lights don’t...
Bought it in September for my Moab trip. All of these batteries going dead scared me. Didn’t want to get stranded on that trip (went to Raptor Assault as well). Charged it then, hadn’t messed with it until yesterday. It had about half battery until I jumped the Raptor. I’ve watched a YT video on...
What did I do today? I jumped the battery with my Noco because I got the infamous popping speakers crap a whole year later…..
Highly suggest this mod for under your seat
I like the graphics. Free paint protection and it makes it different from a reg F150. And I’ve always liked how they look in white (and now avalanche as well).
That LVJ relay looks like a great option for amp hungry lights. When installing do you still keep the upfitter wires going through the factory fuse block as well?
Really freakin happy how it turned out with the bulkhead bar. Things don’t move a millimeter and they are out of the way. Highly suggest this route. Not the cheapest, but that’s how it goes in the truck world I guess
Yeah my first change sucked @ss with that filter. But now with the Fumoto and my hand tightening of the filter my changes are easy peasy. I do however like your idea of inspecting.
And honestly after reading the ‘trick’ with the filter and letting it drain slowly, the catch pan underneath...
I freakin Love my Fumoto. And I feel a lot better since there’s some protection for it with that small panel that covers it. Just did my second change and this was the first time I could use the Fumoto. Oil drain right into my container to empty at AutoZone.
