Sounds good to me. Here's the route. You can see an offshoot to Horseshoe Dam - I tried to cross the verde river, but turned around when the water came up to my doors in the "shallow part".
I'm in. Lets get dates locked down and work backwards from there. We've got about 6 weeks of nice weather left and coordinating 15 people's schedules is gonna be interesting.
I'll throw out a few weekends and let's see what people think:
April 15/16
April 29/30
May 6/7
May 27/28
June...
Agreed, Monument Valley is only worth going if you're passing through to somewhere else! Just like most of the stuff up there... mexican hat, 4 corners, etc.
Take a pic of your truck with the famous hwy 163 backdrop and keep rolling. It's beautiful, but pretty desolate and remote. Grand...
Up for sale are my take off side steps. One of the better looking ADD products. Super beefy construction. Great cosmetic condition with some scratches wear&stead on the underside, that don't show when installed. Includes white LED kit. Fits SCREW 2010-2014, not sure if it'll fit the...
Whatever you do, a magnetic style mount is the only way to go. So convenient.
I have a mob armor for my ipad and it's rock solid, but my cheapass ebay magnetic phone mount has worked just fine during heavy off roading.
No prob. I'm sure you could find a way to get something mounted back there. I'm planning to dynamat that whole wall. it's crazy how much noise comes through that area when you take the rear seats out.
For shame!

These **** measuring threads are good reads.
Maybe someone could post some actual data instead of "no way can it lock up" followed by "well I've never tried but I doubt it" followed by "if it can then i stand corrected".
I pulled out all that stuff a few weeks ago. It's a pretty good spot for some gun mounts, lots of raised sheet metal areas for mounting hardware. I just don't know how much clearance you'd have when the seat is leaned back against the rear wall. Your M249 probably won't fit
