My 19 does it. I have 13,000 miles and I even have a Cobb ECU and TCM Stage 1 tune. Obviously, even the tune doesn't help. Its annoying but doesn't happen all the time. I just deal with it.
Traded my Black 14 with around 50,000 miles for a black '19. I loved the 14, I love the 19 even more. Didnt mod the 14 too much, but have gone a little crazy to date with the 19. Into it for about $10-$12K so far. I love the refinement as opposed to the 14. Much quicker and more luxurious...
Im going to go with 37" either KM'3's or Toyo Open Country MT's with the stock headlocks on my '19. I have 2.5" RPG collars in the front along with ADD bumper. Front rubbing issues won't exist. I just have to figure out what to do in the rear now.
Based solely on experience, use Apollo Optics. Best pricing and the best customer service! Nick really appreciates your business. He even sent me his personal cell number to help with a problem I had. The problem wasn't his fault, but that didn't matter. Nick stood by my purchase.
Yes those are them for the '19's. Either my searching skills are shot or I'm just too tired. Thanks. I agree that they are expensive, but we all have to pay to play I guess. Right now with my setup the way it is, I think I'm pushing more HP and torque than I can handle on the street in an...
I have these on my '19. It was the first mod I did before the Cobb Stage 1 and then TCM tune. I did notice an increase, even though it was slight, in performance when these were added. Truck seemed to have better throttle response in the low to mid RPM range. I dont have any dyno results and...
Yup, RAM owners are the worst it seems. You handled it perfectly. Racing on the street in any vehicle can be so dangerous for not only you and your passenger(s), but also for innocent people around you. I've been tempted myself but I won't bite!
I especially like the small Crossover SUV's with their 4 cylinder motors and 150 HP that takes them a mile just to spool the engine up to reach 75MPH. These little P&%@KS always try to pass me. no matter how fast I'm going!
I agree with this 100%. With me its usually the RAM guys on the highway. Had a guy the other day trying to pass me for about 5 miles. I was in the left hand lane doing about 75/80 and this guy kept trying to pass me, but kept getting blocked in by slower traffic. He finally found an opening...
Well, let me satisfy your curiosity. The reason I bought the Raptor is because I could, and I like its looks. The reason I want 37's is because I like the look regardless of the fact of whether it stays on the street or off road. I also put an ADD front bumper on it with a 40" Baja Strip...
I'm on the fence on whether to switch to 37's. I hear pros and cons on this but just wanted to do as much research as possible before making a final decision. I RPG 2-1/2" front collar leveling on my Raptor as well as the ADD Stealth bumper. Anyone running a similar setup? Any issues with...
I would like to change my exhaust on my 19 to one of these two AWE exhausts but I'm undecided as to which one. I'm one of the rare Gen 2 Raptor owners who doesnt think the stock exhaust sounds that bad. That being said, I would like an exhaust that is a little deeper sounding but not...
Anyone tried changing their side steps to the Amp power steps? I'm considering this mod since I use my truck as a daily driver as well as a weekend haul for the family. Stock side steps are really high for a lot of people to climb into the truck with, and the Amp power steps seem to deploy...
I have an ADD front bumper and the front is leveled 2-1/2". I'm thinking of keeping the stock beadlocks on my 2019 and going with 37" tires. Do I need to do anything else to the truck to keep it driving the way it does now?
