I'm curious about Shock Therapy. Anyone on here have them rebuild/valve their shocks? I'm guessing they set them up at mid-perch and valved for that.

Lowering the rear

Get the 1.5" rear block from Readylift or ProComp. Both are cast iron and set the pinion angle. I've been running the ProComp block for 35K miles and love it. Big difference between the block and a lowering shackle is the loss of compression travel before the bump stop engages when going with...
I had this exact same issue "getting stuck shifting out of 4x4 , more so 4low". Just picked the truck up from the dealer, evidently a circlip that holds the transfer case main planetary broke causing internal failure on all internals. Advisor said it's somewhat common, they just repaired another...
The way you describe it doesn't sound like it's just the added pre-load. The pre load adds a bit more stutter to small square edge chop than you experience on bottom perch. How many miles are on your shocks? May be in need of a rebuild.

This thread might help.
Reverse perch, am i the first?

They're holding up great, still perform the same as new. They've been on the truck for 2 years and require no maintenance beyond rinsing them off. I would definitely recommend them.

2013 Screw, Stock Perch, 1.5" Readylift rear blocks and I tow a 5K lb Toy Hauler once a month. Truck does great, make sure to use a weight distribution hitch and take the time to set it up correctly. I also use the truck off road, whoops and dunes primarily and have had no issues due to the rear...
They charged $80 for the alignment. I see your up in RSM, have you tried Clarks House of Suspension on Lake Forest? I know that he's quite familiar with aligning Raptors.

I have the front end clunk with the OEM Fox's, had the lower control arm bolts torqued, didn't help. The noise is definitely worse when warm. I think I finally have it isolated to something in the steering. From combing through a lot of threads I think it will end up being the intermediate...
Did you ever get this resolved? This just happened to me out in Ocotillo and after about 5 min of flipping back and forth between 4x4 and 2h it switched. However, upon the initial switch the transfer case sounded like a bunch of marbles in a metal can!

Ford press release says that the new Ford Raptor 3" Fox Shocks now have a base valve piston. Would someone with knowledge of shocks care to share the benefits/drawbacks of this? From the media I've read it seems like all the 3" shocks should have this as it makes for a more compliant ride...
Yes, I went back to bottom perch and had an alignment done at Ford but I had still had bumpsteer. Luckily for me I knew that it wasn't normal so I ended up finding a legit alignment shop who set it up proper. No bumpsteer now but small chop 1-2" in size always gives me some feedback/stutter...
I noticed more feedback (I called it bump steer) on mid perch than I do on bottom perch. I think it's a combination of tie rod angle and the stiffer bypass zone the shock rides at when on mid.

The truck is back from the dealer, Service Advisor said the fuel pump relay melted. They bypassed it and we're able to get the truck running. They replaced the relay as well as TSB 15-0137 which is the relocation of Fuse 27.

Yes, pulled fuse #27 not burned or melted. At the dealership and luckily it's not firing for them either. Should have some more info on Monday.

2013 33,200 miles on the clock and twice within the week it's not started for me. Both times it's been the same symptoms, truck was driven then parked. Upon trying to restart the truck it turns over but won't fire. PATS looks to be disarming as when the key cycles to ON the light stops flashing...
I run the 1.5" rear block and enjoy the look and the ride. I use the truck off road at speed and haven't bottomed out the shocks before the bumps engage. If your lowering the rear only for aesthetics then I'd go with the shackles, purely out of ease of install. If you plan on using the truck off...
I'm running their kit on my truck except I purchased it directly from Baja Fabrication http://www.bajafabrication.com/raptor-f-150-enforcement-kit/. The kit is well made but really is just a beefed up mounting point for larger micro urethane bump stops. For my needs of increased frame protection...
