Yep! X2, had the time of my life! Everything was top notch, from the dinner, to the trucks, the instructors, and the riding areas. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Staying with my '20 Gen 2. What's not to love? It has every option, Texas Motorworx built it to what I wanted, and it's Goose Tuned. I love driving this truck!
Thank you! There's a whole build thread floating around in general discussion with more pics. Can't take the credit, that's all Texas Motorworx! Sent them my truck, told them what I wanted, they built it. Couldn't be more happy!
I would recommend Goose Tuned! Trust me, you'll get more than a small power boost! And the TCM is worth it. Contact Winfield, on here. He's a Supporting Vendor.
Welcome. Really depends on you. I'm a Methods guy, always have been. That doesn't mean other wheel manufacturers aren't worth a look, I just like Methods. You can contact Pacific Wheel for many different styles / manufacturers.
2 things I will recommend, staying with the 17" wheel, if you...
I just don't understand his thinking. He's so "wrapped around the axle" with a supposed software issue, that he's looking at this truck, and it's a POS, IMO. He could find a much better Gen 1, but I would just bite the bullet and get the 20 fixed, or drive it correctly.
I just watched his newest video, and I'm not quite sure of his thought process?
He looked at a Gen 1, built by Raptorcore I guess, and the guy wants $65 - $70K. IMO, the truck is in sad shape (for that price), yet he keeps talking about getting it if the guy drops the price more. He says all...
Well.....
I do like the craftmanship with the Raptor / Ford / Claw Mark logos and such. Not sure that would work here in the U.S., probably trademark infringements. I like the crinkled powder coat.
But, I just don't see the usefulness of it? It's supporting the light bars, I get that, but you...
I might get flamed, wait I will get flamed, LOL, but I've used a Harbour Freight torque wrench for years on my SXSs. Never needed it on my truck yet. It works.
I'm not sure how a Gen 1 dash is, but if you could make it work, it's a great mount. Very sturdy especially attached to the BuiltRight Industries bracket underneath.
Lowrance HDS-7 Live, and the mount is made by PCI Radios. Also, I should have taken a picture, but of course I didn't, BuiltRight Industries makes a killer underneath support bracket. They make it for their dash mount. I knew I needed extra support, and just lucky I found it before fabbing up...
