FordTechOne provides more diagnostic guidance and information than anyone else on this site, and it's not even close. He is a very valuable resource that contributes in a multitude of ways. Just because you don't like his answer doesn't mean he's wrong. And the gaslighting is ironic, considering...
Until you have something in writing, you have nothing. I'd keep pushing for a sort of "promissory note" if you will, so that you have some sort of recourse when the dealer sells the truck to someone else. Or they will just ADM you out of the deal if they want to sell it to someone else.
Gotcha, as others have mentioned, I would recommend Goosetune and FMIC, seems to please most people and there's a very noticeable performance improvement. I'm still stock engine as I don't have the cajones to blow my warranty yet, but have driven two trucks with Goosetune's and they are very...
I'd start by buying a Gen 3, a 2022 F250, and maybe something else. Become the owners favorite customer, because that's who is getting first dibs, if the owner himself doesn't take it.
Care to name a few of those? Horsepower, torque, weight, fuel economy, etc? I'm trying to think of a single metric the 5.0 beats the 3.5 high output (apparently H.O. is a bad word) in?
I was very interested in the Badlands first edition sasquatch package but Ford's reservations are so screwed up just like with Raptor gen 3 I moved on. RR SVR for daily and Raptor for hunting and offroading. Broncos look great, hope to try one some day, not doing ADM though.
Me too! We will just make it appear out of nowhere, something about thermodynamics and energy being created and destroyed? Nuclear energy should be the future, I think we agree on that. Water, wind, and solar all have their place as well, just not as primary grid power supplies. All these EV's...
You are probably not aware, coal fire power plants, produce....electricity! There you go, we are officially the greenest country in the world! Nuclear power is electric, coal power is electric, and even gasoline is used to produce electricity! My Raptor now identifies as EV, thank you for...
In what engineering vacuum do we disregard the suspension for a tow/payload rating? You can throw 1000 lb/ft of torque in the Raptor or TRX, but the suspension is going to be the limiter. Can't isolate independent variables that way in a system based rating.
It's almost entirely the suspension...
EV's will be great, just imagine rolling blackouts when your state gov says no charging between hours x-x, and all you have is an EV. Already happening in California, and will spread as energy infrastructure demand surpasses capability at peak hours.
How did you connect via wifi? All I see in my trucks wifi is a VOLKSWAGEN which is the carlink (probably resold and used from Amazon?) and it requires a password to connect?
Sorry I'm the village idiot, what is better about the 2.0 IFP? I am looking at the SVC kit as well and figured I'd just go King or Fox 2.5? Thanks in advance.
I don't have any experience with your interior moisture problem, and it seems to be uncommon from some cursory searches. That being said, I would go to a different dealer. The fact your dealer claims Ford "doesn't stand behind their products" speaks volumes to their relationship with Ford. Ford...
Yes clearly dealers sell at invoice and make no money out of the good will in their heart, that's how the bought their Patek and $5000 western boots. Dealer's make good money at invoice, and great money at anything above. Which is one of the reasons ADM is that much more insulting.
