    2017 Non-bead lock wheels

Less than 3,000 miles on these wheels (I used them for 1 winter). Includes factory lugs too. No TPMS. No blemishes or scratches. Makes a great set of winter wheels. $350 or OBO for set of 4. They are in boxes and I will ship at buyer's expense. Otherwise they are located in SE MN.

    Help/guess the leak....

Just for closure and follow-up if anyone else has the same issue. It was the timing chain cover sealant. Dealership did an oil dye test to confirm. Everything tore apart yesterday and resealed. We shall see how well it holds up.

    Oil leak?

Mine was indeed the timing chain sealant. The dealer did an oil dye test and sure enough it confirmed the leak. Tore everything apart yesterday and put new sealant in. We shall see how well everything holds up.

    Quirks or issues?

On mine (driver's door specifically), If it's wet/damp outside I can push the black actuator button until I'm blue in the face and the door will not lock. I have to use the FOB during these times. As soon as everything dries out then it works great again. What is interesting is this was never...

    Quirks or issues?

I can only confirm that your problem #2 happens to me whenever it's wet/damp outside. It has gotten progressively worse since the frozen door latch TSB was completed last winter. I take it to the stealership on Monday. I will post what/if there is a fix.

Its that time of year again, doors wont close when cold outside

I could not agree more and how frustrating. I am lucky and only had to have my doors done once after not staying shut and then driving in -10 below weather in Minnesota to a dealership that was 18 miles away. I felt awesome in my $60k+ truck holding the door :GetMoney:

    Trading Raptor for ....

Thanks for the reply and input. I always appreciate reading your thoughts. 1. I agree with the transmission because it was fine for the first 9,000 miles and then the dealership completed the 'roll pin recall' repair and I puked fluid all over the interstate. Initially they thought it was a...

    Trading Raptor for ....

Good luck and I hope it works out for you. I too have been underwhelmed with the issues on my Raptor (2017) over the past ~3 years. 1. Oil pan leaking x 2 with replacements 2. Replaced transmission after being left stranded on the interstate twice from cracked housing where abuts the...

    WTB: 2017-2019 Raptor wheels

I have a set of 2017 Gen 2 non-beadlock wheels with lug nuts. No TPMS sensors. There are in good shape with ~10,000 miles on them. I use them with winter tires only and this is the start of the 3rd winter with them. I am replacing them this week with another set of after markets. I am...

Ideas for this oil leak or blowby... 2019 9K Miles

Is the oil leak on the passenger side by the alternator? Check your seal around the timing chain vs valve cover seal. It looks similar to mine. See the link below. I have to take my truck in next week to repair. I have a 2017 with 52,000 miles...

    Oil leak?

Interesting.... I have a 2017 that had the oil pan replaced x 2 at 5,000 and again 10,000 miles. It now has 52,000 miles and I noticed oil on the bottom side of the timing chain cover, passenger alternator, and passenger side front timing chain cover. I bet it's the valve cover too. I'll add...

    Help/guess the leak....

Update.... I took all the skid plates off today to better evaluate things and the bottom of the timing chain cover was clean, but along the passenger side plate it was not. Here are some additional pics. I will take it to the dealership in the next couple of weeks.

Let’s see those Raptors in the snow!

Me pulling out the police Explore cruiser and then the other Explorer. Trying to earn good karma from the 5-0. I had to hide the phone while snapping a pic. I have a video but it's too big to attach as a file. What's left of me spending >2 hours trying to work my way out of.

    Help/guess the leak....

Thanks guys. I am the one who has completed every oil change. Good idea with the Gunk Original Engine Cleaner. I wiped it down real well after taking pics in case of future dealership/warranty repair. I will give it another week and crawl back under there as the snow has been crushing it here.
