    Free 2017 Rear Shocks

I have a set of rear shocks that were part of an exchange program. These are the original non-live shocks for 2017 - 2018’s. These rears came from TSW completely rebuilt, but one of them lost all compression after 3 months, same thing happened with the fronts too. I was underwhelmed by TSW’s...

    Has anyone found OEM mats?

I have a set that came with my 2017 that are still in the plastic wrap. They have been sitting in my shop almost 8 years now and deserve a new home. I like everyone else have used weather tech since day 1. PM me and I can send you a pic, etc.

    Sync Update Won't Initiate

You’ll need to use https://cyanlabs.net/ to update to 3.4 version and the 2023 maps. Just need a new thumb drive

    Whipple stage 1 question

I never ran the Whipple tune. I originally ran a livernois tune (no issues), but it was underwhelming. The COBB tuner has off the shelf tunes (stage 1 and 2) that you can use, but Winfield’s tunes are an absolute improvement over the COBB tunes. My Supercab on an e85 tune is an absolute...

    Whipple stage 1 question

I run a whipple intercooler (since 2018) and have not had any issues with it. I originally had a whipple CAI, but due to its open concept I sold it for the COBB CAI. I run a stage 2 via Goose on an e85 map. I think COBB makes a better intercooler and @GooseTuned sells their stuff. I would...

GEN 2 FTMUL $6000 3.5 eco tune up

Truck is back and quieter than a church mouse. I had almost forgot what they are supposed to sound like. Coolant lines all looked very good and did not get replaced. I did not do the oil pan even though I have the 2 piece plastic pan. Everything else got replaced (belts, tensioners, water pump...

MY19 just under 18k miles, zero issues... wondering if I have a phaser "time bomb" that *will* go off some day?

GEN 2 FTMUL $6000 3.5 eco tune up

I think his point is completely valid. I am essentially doing this when doing cam phasers next week. It’s paying for parts since labor is already done. I’m not replacing coolant lines unless look bad or fail under pressure, but I do have new reservoir tank lid, along with everything else in...

    P0022 with lots of boost?

When’s the last time the plugs have been changed or can you pinpoint it too one cylinder and pull that plug?

MY19 just under 18k miles, zero issues... wondering if I have a phaser "time bomb" that *will* go off some day?

Well. I definitely jinxed myself….:banghead: 102,075 miles. Cam phasers are loud and proud. Going under the knife in a couple of weeks. Going to do timing chains, water pump, T-stat, and belts at the same time. Any other advice @FordTechOne ? If she comes out of surgery whole again then...

MY19 just under 18k miles, zero issues... wondering if I have a phaser "time bomb" that *will* go off some day?

I hope I am not jinxing myself here, but I have a 2017 I ordered with 4 miles on the odometer that has not had the cam phaser issue. I just turned 102,000 miles. I change the oil every 5000 miles no matter what.

    p0022

Not to be an A-hole, but it sounds like you have an oil leak from your valve cover ;) (well known and well covered issue on this site). Have you checked the oil level?

Getting this code and loss of power

I can almost guarantee it’s the plugs. I had this code and replaced plugs as a step wise process and completely resolved all issues. I am at 100,000 miles now, got this code at 35,000 miles and never again since change plugs empirically every 20,000 miles. I am still on the OEM coils and...

Gen 2 3.5L EcoBoost Cylinder Misfire

Did some one drop the box of spark plugs prior to putting them in your truck? I’d seriously question if the insulators are cracked vs the coil packs are not on securely. It’s awful suspicious you had the plugs replaced and now having misfires on that many banks.

Anecdotal Cam Phaser Noise as it relates to oil

Subscribed. Mostly because I am at 99,000 miles and still have not had the cam phaser rattle despite being a 2017.

GEN 2 IWE issues (I think)

A couple of thoughts: 1. Lift the front of the truck up so the wheels are off the ground. Put 25 of vacuum to each actuator (one at a time) and turn the tire by hand, if you don’t hear any noise then you you know the actuator is disengaging at the hub, if you hear the “grinding” then it’s...

Was It Worth It? Gen 2 (2017-2019)

I am at 97,000 miles on my 2017 SuperCab. I have not had the cam phaser issue yet (knock on wood) and have been tuned with Goosetuned since mile 30,000. I run e85 in the spring/summer and 91 in the Fall/Winter. I also personally change my own oil on the clock every 5,000 miles no matter...
