the charging system was relative to the belt since the pulley failed the alternator wasn't spinning either. they are checking the other pulley's and tensioners as well.
So This past Saturday, the wife and I were going to run errands and i went to auto start the truck and there was about a 10sec delay before starting (usually fires right up). we go out to the truck and i go to get in the cab and there is a burning smell. it doesn't smell electrical but i started...
if you want specifics on the types of tracks used, etc. I can find a link for you if you'd like. Its definitely overkill, but I tend to want a more sturdy setup for offroading, etc.
the bedslide kit is only used since the nutcerts are aluminum instead of steal so that they will not corrode. I had some aluminum tracks with connectors laying around from a old drawer system that was built for my old jeep i can get you a link for the material to build the frame as well. but if...
Now i just need your suspension setup and i'll be happy!!
1. How did you mount the Genesis battery holder to the bed?
2. What's the purpose of the aluminum track around the battery?
The aluminum track that i built and put at the back of the bed is what the system is mounted to. I wanted to...
This is what I used to build my dual battery setup, and i might be biased buts its the cleanest dual battery I've seen in a raptor.

So the short version, i'm running a genesis battery box, with a Redarc battery charger. wired to the main battery along the frame and then added a fuse to the fuse panel in the cab to the battery charger so that the charger knows when the truck is running so it starts to charge the aux battery...
thats a great compressor. I had one in my jeep hardwired without tank and plan on doing the same to the raptor. I also run a 2nd battery so makes this alot more functional and permanent.
I have a similar issue, only happens when truck is still relatively cold and the power almost dies if i'm light on the throttle and shifting from 3rd to 4th. its definitely not the tune which i thought it was at first but i have installed the Cobb TCM Sport+ and it still does it so definitely...
i have the XR and you can latch it down in any position it just requires a bit more pressure on the latch for some reason. I thought it didn't work at first too but you have to push down pretty hard and i thought i was going to break it but it works just fine.
They never sent an email, and my dealer didn't even know anything about it. I did get a pamphlet in the mail but by that point i had already signed up.
I signed up for October 24-25 back in February, not sure why the dates wouldn't be available already if there still are any. i'm thinking about driving my raptor with my RTT out there making a trip out of it.
There is a thread on this in the FORSCAN section i can't remember off the top of my head but there is a FORSCAN mod that can be done to keep power constant. But based on the information you are given i'm assuing more than likely he doesn't have FORSCAN available to him.
Yeah i understand, the good thing about the ARB and Dometic is they have safety features that will cut the fridge off if the amps on the battery drop too low. These trucks are also pretty "smart" and the battery monitoring system will cut power to the outlet automatically as well. But i was...
