I'll never try this again with my gen 3, but on my gen 2 I squeezed out 25 mpg over 2 weeks and 500 miles of driving, combination of city and highway driving. The secret? NEVER over 50mph, and if you even think you hear your exhaust you are accelerating too fast. I tried it once just to see what...
Lol because “level” is not subjective, and “level look” can be whatever you want to interpret it to be. Silly marketing tactics from a less than honest company. Stock gen3’s will come out of the factory with between 1.25 and 1.75” of rake. Throw 80-100 lbs in the bed (i.e. a tonneau cover) and...
Hi all, just wanted to update this thread for those trying to find a touch up paint for their bumper/fenders on a gen 3. J7 is not even close to a match, it is many many shades lighter and looks horrific. I just tried it and am back to the drawing board.
Decals are extremely easy to remove and free to keep in your order. The hood decals alone are over $700. The bedsides are thousands per side, not to mention the difficulties of installing them perfectly like they do at the factory. These two facts alone are going to be the reason you’ll never...
Let us know how it sounds! Sounds the same as stock in the other guy’s videos, but then again the stock exhaust doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as it does in person.
Lol at all the whiners here. “Please don’t bring your money to my state I only support capitalism when it benefits me.” Screw anyone who tries to limit my right to spend my money wherever I want in this country. Proudly live in California, proudly own guns, and proudly grabbed a steal of a deal...
If acceleration is what you miss and you’re willing to sell your vehicle to correct it, I think you would be a fantastic candidate for a TRX in all honesty. I’ve driven a 35, I could barely tell a difference performance wise on the street to be sure. If you ever plan on using your truck as it...
I mean it's pretty obvious right? Start up's like Tesla and Rivian who sell direct to consumer are taking a larger and larger percentage of the overall market share every year. The writing is literally on the wall.
Simple analogy I think most of us can relate to, what happens when your...
My 22 37pp feels very similar, maybe a tad more torquey in the midrange compared to my 17 in stock form before it was tuned. I bought them both new. I didn’t do any spirited driving with my 22 until after 2k miles though, so no idea what it would have felt like before that. It def could benefit...
37pp checking in here. 2600 miles and I am sitting level at almost exactly 42 inches all around with a tonneau cover and 1/2 tank of gas. Looks like I’ll be installing 1 inch rear spacers so I can carry any load at all.
Love my AC, works fantastic. I’ve had it blasting away with outside conditions up to 114 degrees. Love the seat cooling function too, huge improvement over the gen 2 seat cooling.
If I’m understanding your question correctly, it’s been proven rim widths between 8.5 and 9.5 will work best with the BFG KO2s, with offset up to 0mm (0 for 8.5 rim width, +12 for 9.5 is the same thing) without fear of trimming or fender issues under compression.
For those interested in removing swirl marks, I am a converted believer in ceramic coatings. My wife’s black E-Tron S just landed with a dealer installed ceramic coating package we had to eat the cost on. Well I just washed it for her last weekend, just a simple wash, rinse, dry, and there was...
What I don’t understand is why the livernois tune requires you to unplug/replug a bunch of stuff under the hood multiple times, and the whipple tune is just your standard ob2 plug in tune. Did I miss something in either set of instructions? The whipple tomahawk instructions are near impossible...
Agreed, I reread their descriptions. “Efficient” seems like a term they use to describe the filter’s ability to catch particles. I wonder if their dry filter option can somehow flow better with better filter performance as well. I have zero interest in oiled filters for an off road vehicle.
That powecore tech looks almost too good to be true! 100k filter replacement interval with better air flow than stock?! I wonder if it improves the turbo noise as well.
Curious if anyone here knows if the tuner Cobb is working on will be for 2021’s only? I feel like I read somewhere the 2022 ECUs were different. Really hoping this isn’t the case…
That price is absolutely ridiculous. What is so special about this setup that a local muffler shop can’t do for 800 bucks? Maybe the younger generation isn’t aware, but before the fancy name brand exhaust manufactures came out, local muffler shops did the same thing for less.
I heard the same thing from a reliable source, and that 10k number will be spread across 3 years, so a little over 3k produced annually. The ADMs are going to be sky high if you are even lucky enough to get an order in sigh.
That is just ridiculous. Glad you have a build date at least. I had three orders in, two at msrp, one with a small/moderate adm. Only one order got picked up, guess which one…
