Excellent man thanks. Look forward to seeing some night shots. I have no doubt those Baja's are bright I just want to see more LOL
Why don't you like the Baja rear light setup? That's what I was leaning towards. Thought I would hook it up to aux 6 as well as reverse. That way I could use it as...
Okay now that we've been teased with dusk shots, how about taking some in the very dark ones so we can see what the light output is...
Would like to see it in steps as well with and without headlights Etc... and from a cab perspective...that is if you're so inclined to do so.
I'm getting...
Well I was out of town today and just decided to stop by a neighboring cities Line-X. That was a mistake. Because they gladly took my money 4 my rear wheel wells being sprayed.
Hey thanks JD for following through and letting me know.
Looks like I'll have to figure out the license plate being moved versus messing with the bracket and screwing up the light.
I do like the poat/picture from the guy that had his license plate attached directly to the top skid plate at an...
Thanks! The S2 Pro wide cornering light was kind-of the point of what I thought might make the biggest difference in the kits; the BD being able to accommodate more lights, while the FRL kit can only hold a KC.
I sure would like to see another "great night driving shot" like yours with the FRL...
QUOTE=Magnetic1- "If the posts they gave you on the plate mount were longer that would work. The way it is mailed and the angle and length they give you leaves you with little choice"
So if understand you correctly, it is NOT LOWER after your bending the rods?
And if not, what was the purpose...
Hoping to get an answer on the BD Unlimited lights. It looks like the Squadron Racer in spot is LESS lumens than the Squadron Pro spot...Is this right?
What is the difference, the lens?
I am leaning towards the unlimited lights, but am wondering why the racer is less powerful.
Thanks!
It looks like by your heating it up it actually lowered the plate mount anyway? Is that correct? If so why not just put it where it's meant to be in the center with it lowered?
And regarding your plastic dip each to their own... but I would have just been happy with the yellow license plate
I have been seriously looking to buy lights for my fogs. I am trying to decide between what I (IMHO) consider the two top contenders, the Baja design bracket and lights, or the FordRaptorlight.com setup; I’m planning to use Baja design lights either way, and most likely the lights from the...
I am going to try some HD all-weather Velcro all the way around the plate back, in the same spot, to see how I like the look before drilling; it should hold well anyway cause the plate on its own is light.
And when I have used the quality weather Velcro in the past, it has held many a thing...
Yes it sure does look nice and clean! But how about taking and posting some night shots from inside and outside of the cab without headlights.
Which lights did you go with by the way?
Look forward to seeing the night light up, thanks in advance
I wonder if at least some of these are the trucks that all the auto mags/online guys got to review, then had to send back, then we're auctioned off, and end up in the used market?
Just a thought...
Wow! I think this looks about as good as it can for us "lucky ones" that have to run a front plate...
And this would work Wonderful with a Oynx center light in the Bottom Grill... thanks for experimenting!
I think you saved me 90 bucks I was going to go the sto-n-sho route.
Would be...
Sounds great! Need Pics!
Please post up some night shots! And if possible, do it in stages (ambers, driving/spots alone...W/Without headlights/HB etc.)
Thanks in advance!
Yeah it is really impressive. mine works about a football field almost away!
I was truly blown away when I first tried it, and yes, it was line of sight with no obstructions, but my old Silverado would work about 20 feet away pretty cool!
Goid job Ford!
I use Savy which plugs into the OBD port to control slow speed alerts and also Powers the V1 and my Bluetooth adapter for the V1.
That's why I'm trying to see if there's a way to keep the power on through the OBD.
Wondering if there's a Forscan option to keep the OBD port from losing power when the auto on/off, turns itself off?
My problem is I have a valentine one radar detector hardwired into my OBD port with savvy, aan I use YaV1 software for it, and every time the truck shuts off (if I forget to...
I'm new in joining up as well even though I've been lurking for some time. But welcome and you will enjoy it because it is a Great place to learn a lot about these awesome trucks.
I had it setup to use as well but since Ford wants to track everything I do, based on privileges as well as the memo that pops up on sync 3 occasionally, I did a master reset and uninstalled it because it doesn't do much anyway in my humble opinion...
But to each their own if you use the auto...
Hey FB! Yes it was a direct replacement; everything fits perfect. The factory double stick appears to be some kind of spray on directly on the back of the blue Ford oval. It was warm out when I changed it so I was able to easily peel that off from the back side.
