I like them. But I also added badges that say EFI and ABS to my truck because I like people to know that I have features that almost every car has. Gonna get "Air Conditioned" next.
Have a set of the Baja SAE "amber" fogs in my truck. They're definitely yellow (not amber) and don't match the parking/marker lights.
Not sure you want these to match though, I think the yellow color is correct for fog lights, though it would look cooler if they matched.
Did they solve it? Was thinking about doing for same reason.
The back of the door handles on mine (where you reach in and grab) was covered in mud on mine, and there was hardly and mud on the trail. Way worse than the gen1.
The best feature of the stock steps IMO is protection against door dings. Most vehicles can't ding the Raptor with the front doors. Rear doors with wheel cutouts can still reach over the running boards though.
Annoys me too, not sure how to stop it. Even in socal it frequently displays a warning about upcoming 'hazardous driving conditions', can't even imagine what it's like in a place that actually *has* hazardous driving conditions.
Think it might be "dynamic routing" or "show incident POI icons...
I definitely liked these better than the BFGs and would run them again if they didn't get so loud halfway through.
Brother and I saw a decrease in fuel economy on our 2011s when we switched, but the actual diameter of the 315/70R17 Duratrac was significantly larger than the BFG. This could...
No 4WD knob. Could be a 2WD truck, or 4WD controls could be on left (not visible). Or could be a 4WD and the controls are entirely in that "drive mode" knob.
Recommend not judging from leaked pictures. This company did design the Gen1 Raptor, followed by the Gen2 Raptor. Both of which...
Imagine it's just a loose connection or bad module and is easily isolated/fixed.
Personally I'd drive it back to dealer right now and drop it off / demand a rental, no excuse for this, they sold you a brand new $70k-ish truck, and it was sold to you broken. Can't imagine they'll fight you on...
The "FAT" filesystem most commonly used for USB flash drives (and probably the only thing Sync3 supports) is actually incredibly unsuited for the purpose it's used.
FAT is very easy to corrupt, and if it's corrupted, it might fail later than you'd expect. This is because Sync might actually...
Do only the torsen-diff trucks torque steer, or is it the higher low-end torque and sharper curve due to turbocharging?
My Raptor is the only Gen2 I've ever driven, definitely torque steers in 4A with a lot of throttle in wet. Has Torsen.
I don't remember my 1999-2004 GM fullsizes didn't...
Sporting RPG bumpers now, in lieu of wood planks. Also lots of engineering test equipment/sensors.

BTW that appears to be a motorized front air dam. Fully retracted position is way too low to the ground though...why not design it to go away completely?
Only the Windows version of Forscan can actually program the truck, would recommend getting a USB cable over Bluetooth. The Android/iOS versions are just code readers/data loggers I believe (haven't tried them).
If you're technically inclined, you can use a Linux or Mac laptop to program it...
I like the dots, but don't like it as a two-tone. If I'm paying for dots, I want the dots everywhere. And they'll probably charge extra for half dots and half not dots.
Hardware looks neat, but they really need to hire a UI designer. Just use flat buttons for crying out loud. It looks like they got the guy that Microsoft fired from Windows XP.
Your opinions are certainly carrying more weight now that I know you have purchased vehicles which are more expensive than those of the other internet users who have posted in this forum thread. Unless someone else here can make a claim about owning large parcels of land, a reasonable size...
