You don’t have to drive like an ass to have a tune. I think the majority of us just drive normal with the tune installed. When you need it, it’s there. I haven’t noticed any regular driving compromises with the tune.
So the cheapest electric eco boost will be the fastest f-150 in the line up. Until next year anyway . I also think the f-150 tremor messed the price point of the Gen 3 raptor up as well.
I would do +4 HD‘s and if it’s to high in the back just get a drop shackle. They make inexpensive bump stop kits that I’m sure deaver could tell you about. just do the SVC cass system up front and then you can have options up front to get your truck level.
I unbolted the bumper from the rear frame and have it set aside so I should have them. It’s in the back of my shed so if you can’t find them local I’d be glad to help.
When I got my final alignment the shop had to reset TDC with some kind of scanner. I should have asked more questions about it. I remember the guy telling me that sometimes it takes multiple attempts before it takes.
I think He was trying to let you know that the factory leafs are a joke. Upgraded leafs that get rid of the block are one of the top mods you can do for your raptor. I’m not sure what a RAS is all about but you could do +2 Deavers with a drop shackle and lower your truck 1”
2018 with a cobb accessport that I monitor oil pressure and temperature. I had this happen once with the gauge reading zero and the warning light with a de tune while driving. The AP was reading good oil pressure so I wasn’t to worried. Pulled over and cleared the code that popped up and...
The +3 deavers with the +2 shackles he’s selling will keep you at stock height. This is a great setup because if you add weight to the back you can just swap back to stock shackles and raise your truck 1”. That’s what I had to do when I put a 2 spare chase rack in.
I was into VW buses for awhile and a forum I was on put together a list of members that were willing to help with repairs and breakdowns. I’m sure if you have any issues this group would do the same.
I thought I got this idea when I saw it on your Gen 1 in Wyoming. I work in electric utilities and have a spiraling tool to strip insulation off underground conductor. 4/0 cable is almost the same size as the hose. You can see where mine was rubbing on the spring and had some other marks in...
My point exactly but I wasn’t going to push it. I went down the same path and did this job twice. If your going to upgrade the suspension and use the truck hard you’ll be happy that you slot deleted and have your alignment locked in.
TFL bids sounds like they’re trying to create a site for us. I don’t think bring a Porsche/trailer gets a raptor crowd. I did sell a car on bring a trailer and everything went smooth
I was looking to sell them local. if your interested let me know.
I’m thinking $600 for the set. Here’s the fox rebuild price sheet +shipping so I think I’m being fair.
I have icons but good point on the rim. I went down the same path and it just sucks having to go back in and tear it apart again when you will be in there doing the shocks. Not a hard job.
For a better perspective. Tried to get to the top but only got about half way before chickening out. We were on our way home and this place is middle of nowhere.
Hwy 24 in between coral reef national park and Hanksville. Swingarm city is in caineville. It’s where ken bloke jumped his raptor in his YouTube video. Didn’t know where it was and just stumbled upon it. Definitely want to get back to the area.
I have some 2018 stock shocks with 1.5” SVC spacers that have 6000 miles on them. With a +2 deaver it would put the rear a 1/2 higher than the front. I’m in Lafayette,CO
I have a 2018 with non live valve 3.0’s fox says 50,000 miles street 10,000 with strait off-road. The best thing about the 3.0’s is the front coilovers that you can adjust to your liking. I haven’t messed to much with the dampening settings. If you can swing it the adjustable UCA’s are worth it...
