I feel the raptor doesn’t have touchy brakes and needs heavier pressure to stop. But if you try a full on stop with pressure they do the job just fine, just takes some getting used too.
Not a bad drive from WY to raptor assault. It will give you an even greater appreciation for the raptor. Congrats I have a 2018 lead foot and love the color.
I have lost all hope in any dealership repair work. There is a lack of give a shit. How could they not realize that if you noticed the dash problem that your the type of customer that would notice shit work. They just have no pride in their work.
I got a half turn on all the U bolts on the retighting. Will probably check one more time and call it good. No noises but I caked them with amsoil rust proofing and lots of bushing lube.
Nothing like turning your mechanics into detectives, so they can deny any warranty work. You have to pay to play and if you can’t afford to replace major engine components you shouldn’t be playing.
So are you saying that 2017 and 2018 trucks will get up hill assist with the 2019 tcm flash? One other question I have is does the transmission tune only effect normal and sport modes or are the other modes changed. Thanks for all the work Cobb. I never had any big issues with my transmission...
Just installed the simulated stock tune and on start-up got the no uphill assist warning. I was hoping that was just a flash add on thing but oh well. That feature was cool to play with at raptor assault. It Most be more involved, I know you adjust speed with cruise control
1 thing Cobb realized in their testing is that the 2019 tcm was refined from Ford so if you’re in good with your dealer see if they will reflash your 2017 and 2018 TCM to the newest software. I’ll order it and try all 3. I’m wondering if the transmission will go through a relearn with each map
RPG 1.5 spacers up front with deaver +3’s with RPG drop shackles in the rear. And a SVC bumpstop kit. this trip was a reason to test the deavers, I know it’s all over this forum but they do keep the truck planted. I looked for more high speed sections when searching for trails this trip so I...
I had a 2007 Aston Martin Vantage that stated in the manual to do this procedure if the car sat for more than a week. That was a dry sump engine. I’m wondering if this may have any effect on the cam phasers. My truck sits for most of the week and this procedure couldn’t hurt. All the cam phaser...
