You know the shocks are not getting voltage when the truck is off right? If you jump in the bed it will feel stiff because the valves are at full close.
You gotta do it in the field and drive it over bumps to see how you like it. Adjust ride repeat. Too much preload makes the truck kinda bouncy and nervous. The right amount follows the terrain and makes the truck hook up and feel planted asf.
