    IIRC there is an adjustment for time duration of the steering wheel heater to time out and some have played with this. I don’t recall an ability to change temperature.

    This is how mine seems to work as well, although it doesn't exactly get burning hot or anything. IIRC, there is a Forscan mod to put the heated steering wheel control on the main display (along with the heated/cooled seats), which I did and which makes it easier to turn on/off.

    This is what I did for a charging pad in that front cubby. Got an Anker wireless charging unit and then a 6” cable with a right angle micro-usb. Phone fits right in there and I can shut the door and it’s totally concealed.

    Those look not bad. For that spot I got a rectangular charging pad and put it in that cubbyhole. Works well and the lid shuts to cover it and conceal the phone.

    I have the LTE service activated as well. I thought the $10 monthly cost wasn’t too bad. But to have it crippled to not enable the Sync kinda takes a lot of utility out of it. You also can’t have the Sync system download updates thru this service. I do use it for my Escort MAX 360c connected...

    So I was in for a regular maintenance service today and had them update the sync to the latest sync. They said they did an update, but I checked the screen before and after and per the screen went from v3.3 to ... v3.3. So unless there are some minor releases that don't increment the version...

    Website says its v3.10. I was able to download it to a USB stick but got an error message on trying to install. Repeated process and got same error message. I then did a scan for updates via wifi and it didn't find anything, that has never seemed to work for me. Appears to be a new update...
