Mod – run mirror side spotlights at any speed
What does this mod do? Allows you to run your side mirror spotlights at any speed. Normally there is a 5 MPH limit to running the spotlights
Can’t this be done in Forscan? No. The side mirror spotlights power source is hard wired to a power...
I have BV900 hardwired using their park recording module. It contains a power management system so that it shuts off after awhile to stop battery drain. It didn’t seem like it was too hard to wire but I had a local electronics shop do it.
I suggest you read the link here from F150 forum that goes into this. Unfortunately its a long disorganized mess of a thread but its all in there if you sort thru it all.
The module is under driver side dash, right above accelerator. To get to it you have to lay down on your back with head...
Yes that’s it. You pull that module. Pull the green connector. Pull a white restraining harness. Then pull the grey wire out and wrap it. Put a jumper in between pins 1 and 2 on the green connector. Put back together. Bada bing, bada boom.
Some folks pull the fuse while doing this because you...
For those attempting this mod, I'd suggest reading the whole long thread on the f150 forum. While the mod is as simple as pulling a wire and adding a jumper, getting to the module and pulling the wire are a tedious PITA, and unfortunately there is no single or main post that clearly and...
No code. You have to pull a wire and add a jumper. The link in my post has the whole thread on how to do it. I will say its a small PITA to deal with the little plugs, and clamps, and wire releases, but theoretically its a 5 min job. Happy when you get it done tho.
Of course that is the right answer.
Raptor is a halo vehicle. F150 is the cash cow.
The story about the delay was that Ford needed to spend all the time getting the F150 launch right and ready for that generation and then could turn focus to the Raptor. Makes sense to me. Whether that...
Recaro are electric and heated and cooled
No recaro with red
I have agate black and went with the carbon fiber interior. Really didn't like the blue color recaros. But if I was going with a blue exterior, I'd definitely go with the recaros as the blue would match.
I know this forum is very lightly moderated, but threads like this add zero value and in fact detract from the forum. It was a bad idea for the OP to start it, but that is nothing new. Agree it should be deleted.
I got Husky on my gen2 and had PDP on my gen 1. PDP is definitely more of a rubber flap that is flexible. Husky is more of a molded type unit. There is some flex but not as much as a rubber flap.
Installed the DU-HA. Easy peasy and really helps keep the junk under control.
Also installed a Bak-Flip F1. Very well made piece and pretty straight forward to install. Thanks to Rick@FreedomMotorsports for the great service.
