I’m not a big off-roader (yet...) but from what I’ve read/heard you can air down pretty low without beadlock wheels. Definitely enough for moderate off-roading. You just don’t want to go higher speed and take a corner with it aired down. Id just stick with the aftermarket wheels.
This is something I am looking at in the future too but my goal would be less suspension droop with load (ie Trailer). I am guessing based on this comment +2 would be best for that situation.
Is +2 less droop than +3 with shackles???
To me our trucks have plenty of power stock. I would guess that the next gens will probably have a 100hp bump. Doubt it will be 700hp. I think with concept vehicles a lot of times manufactures shoot for the moon. I don't think 700hp will be reliable out of a truck that a lot of us drive daily.
I have not had my '19 brake automatically yet for me but Im pretty sure its designed to do it. One of the reasons I got the '19 over an '18 is because its supposed to have pre-collision assist vs. '18's just have pre-collision warning. They switched the radar in the '19 which is what made the...
I have not done either on my truck yet but will probably do rear first. I can see why taller front springs might be some people’s first suspension mod but I am happy with the rake. I think Deavers in the rear would help the handling all around more.
If it only started after you added the muffler and its coming from under the car it has to be it. Since it didn't happen the most recent time you drove it, maybe it seated better after heating up and cooling a few times. Also, it only happens at wide open throttle at 90mph. How often are you...
I would search around for a '19 with the options you want and go in to get a deal. ford.com has a search inventory option that will search all dealers in your area and you can select different options. Then go in and double check the window sticker. Thats how I found mine. Im pretty sure the...
I think it would look weird but if you like the look you should go for it. You can always tint the windows so the interior color separates more from exterior if you want the seats and are set on red.
Not a poser in my opinion. That's mainly how I use mine. Been off road a few times but mainly use it as a daily driver/Home Depot/junk hauler. FYI you probably wont be able to get that much rock in a Raptor without going over the payload.
Everyone's going to have widely different opinions on this. My order of modifications:
1) Tonneau cover - I went with a Truxedo Sentry CT because it was mix of hard and soft covers and layed flat
2) DuHa under seat storage container
3) Stubby antenna
4) Mud Flaps - RokBlokz
5) Plastidipped...
The only benefit I could see is if you got a flat and the app warned you so you would know before the next time you got in the truck. Not sure if it would do that but I know it pushes warnings to the app when they happen in the truck. ie. when I was having issues with my ACC sensor it would...
Mine pulls pretty hard too. I would bet you have yours turned on to alert only right now. You also have to be touching the wheel for it to work. I usually only turn mine on when Im doing long trips on the freeway. I find it very annoying driving around town.
Thanks for the review. I have similar comments to others. Def run higher octane gas. I think all turbo cars need to run whatever the highest octane you can get at the pump. I am in Seattle area and it rains a lot here. I havent had much trouble slipping on the wet. I run it in sport mode with 4A...
Wow, this is the first Ive seen this. Makes sense. This is what I found on Google:
Driver Alert System
The Driver Alert System is designed to help alert drowsy drivers by monitoring the vehicle's movement compared to lane markings that are tracked by a camera mounted on the windshield. If the...
