Gen 2 Returning to stock (ADD bumper, Fox 3.0's, RPG Bump Kit, Deavers...etc)

I really want those Deaver springs but unsure about whether the +3 or +2 will work the best. I really don't want to get into having to change out my front springs. Did you change your front spring and does the truck still sit level. I'm here in LA and pretty close to you so can pick them up.

Ready to buy Gen2(or 3) - but all dealerships way over MSRP?

I purchased my 2018 802A Scab last year in May as well. I had been looking for the last 6 months and dealers in Socal are a mess to deal with. My brother-in-law is in the business and found my 2018 at a specialty car dealer in Malibu on consignment. He brokered the deal and I walked away with a...

    Lightweight, Quiet, Road-centric All-Terrain Tires

After my KO2's went to shit after only 20k miles I put on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3 as well and can say that I really like them so far. Quite ride with plenty of traction in both dirt and snow.

    Am I paying to much

If you find a truck on the mainland just send someone from the forum to take a look at. I'm pretty sure the forum has the entire country covered and definitely detail oriented when it comes to their Raptors.

    Am I paying to much

I shipped my brother-in-laws 7 series BMW from LA to Honolulu several years back and I think it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.5-3k. The Raptor will probably be alittle more due to size and weight. One thing to keep in mind is that trucks are highly sought after in HI and it would be...

    That's seriously a hot mess.

GEN 3 RAPTOR SEEN ON FREEWAY PHOENIX

Ford made just enough changes to the Gen 3 to keep it interesting. They really didn't need it to be a huge departure from the Gen 2 because the Gen 2's foundation was already pretty solid. The tweeks they did make were simply the ones the Raptor community were asking for. My only disappointment...

How much would my 2020 raptor sell for?

The market in California has always been different than the rest of the country. Ford has several of the largest volume dealers in the US located in Southern California. Galpin, Sunrise, Ken Grody, South Bay all sell more units than most states dealers combined. When I was looking for a Raptor...

    GEN 2 Car Wash

A lot of the car washes we have here in Socal won't fit the Raptor but as you know many have hand washing available. I invested in a foam canon several years ago but it's significantly more difficult for those in colder climates to keep that road salt and mess off their vehicles. Being from the...

How much would my 2020 raptor sell for?

I just saw one listed in SoCal that was a 2018 with like 25k miles for $72k so I would think you would be able to at least fetch $75k or more.

Past owner probably used Forscan to change that feature.

    Offroad Alliance’s Rigid kits

The lights you want to go with will really come down to what you want and need. I would call or email ORA as they are great at helping customers determine what will work best for your needs. I really needed a set of ambers which will cut through fog, snow and dust. SAE, Driving/Combo, Spot seem...

2nd Application of Adams Ceramic Spray Wax

I just detailed my tuck over the weekend using the Graphene Ceramic Spray. I washed the truck then clay bar using the detail spray while it was still wet. I then did 2 coats of the Ceramic spray letting it cure for 4 hours in between coats. Came out just as good if not better than my wifes Lexus...

    Offroad Alliance’s Rigid kits

I have each pair wired to an upfitter switch. The Baja Design S1 wide corner ambers I have pointed down a bit and I can run them on the road without issues of blinding other drivers. They work great as a fill-in to my low beams.

    Offroad Alliance’s Rigid kits

Offroad Alliance is a super outfit. I have their Triple Bezel kit and it's really second to none. I called them a few times during my install and they were great at walking me through the process. That top bolt can be a bit of a pain in the ass but they gave me a few tricks to get it right...

    SCAB to SCREW?

So I guess what I'm hearing is that, a SCREW works better for you. Excellent. For those of us that don't live at the end of 2 miles of dirt road and have enough room in the driveway to fit a 4 door Raptor along side of the boat and tractor we'll just have to make do with a SCAB. Being 4 blocks...

    2014 Shelby Raptor

It will go another 200k miles so I wouldn't be overly concerned about mileage. That motor is a beast. If I recall, Ford recommended premium fuel for all the Raptors and not just the Shelby. It will run on 87 just fine you just might lose a few Hp's. Like others have mentioned, you might be very...

Steering Wheel Icon on Gauge Cluster

So I went through and made the Forscan mods that I wanted over the weekend, made sure to back everything up and I noticed that their is a steering wheel icon in the lower right hand corner next to the drive indicators. Is it always there and I simply didn’t notice. I know that I’m in normal mode...

    Upgrading wheels

Any -20 or -24mm off set is going to put the tire past 2inches for sure. My zero offset, hub centric wheels placed the tire 1 1/4 outside the fender and I didn't want to crackup my fenders so replaced them with a +25 and they work perfect for off the pavement.

Fully Loaded 2018 or No Option 2019

I would definitely go with the 2018. I looked at both as well and as others have mentioned, most of your driving will be on pavement as a daily driver and you will want those leather seats with heat/cool and most importantly that 360 camera. The live valve Fox's are just OK from my perspective...
